I had a friend that messed up his Nokia 7650 trying to upgrade the firmware by himself. He took it to a Nokia Service Station where they refused to help him. Tough luck for sure.

I do understand the US problem and why you would want to flash it by yourself. Just beware of things that can go wrong.

Yes, you are right. Though I finished the flashing without any trouble, but I don't guarentee that everyone will not have trouble. Make sure that you are very very clear the steps of flashing. You should be clear what you are doing, and what you will be doing at every moment.
Also, I'm not an expert in ericsclient. I am just a successor of flashing T68m by myself. Maybe it's just luck. So do anything in your own risk. Don't blame for anybody.

Yes, there is no free lunch. you do need to buy a credit. I recommand you guys www.unlocking.co.uk , 1 credit only cost 5GBP! It become very worth to do the upgrade yourself, especially in US.

To all guys who want more information, you'd better post it here, instead of PM. because I found that the PM system of Esato is getting slower and slower. When I press the "submit" button, I need to wait for a few minutes, sometimes it even gives me an error page. So sorry about that. Also it's better to post the question here, because more people can learn about the common problems, so that I don't need to answer them again and again. Thx.

@navy
Hey man, can you read through the thread thoroughly? Can't you read? Is that so difficult? You sounds like an idiot after we have discussed all the things, and you just come up with a "Yeah, how"....

If you don't believe, you need not ask right? If you still don't believe after I have explained in so many words, then why do you still go into this thread and give a "yeah, how"??

Why is flashing using "flash language" not safe? it takes one less log which in the long run saves money but why do most people not use this method?
