Hey, did you see the video sample shot with the N93 ? If the cell is hold steady (as any good photographer should) the quality is perfect ! Even if a less skilled hand takes the shot is not to bad. (virtual dub with the tweaked C++ deblocking filte does clean up a lot) Now I can leave my handycam at home while flying. At 180g this is indeed one of the smallest handycams out there and I can listen to mp3's, take pictures of check points high up (3xoptical) during competitions, use it as a GPS with the extra bluetooth adapter, upload in realtime the flight to Google Earth while within GPRS/EDGE/3G signal and make a phone call to the office if needed ! Huh - all this from ONE device ! Greetings from South Africa. Mario :-)

I have just crossed over to a Nokia N80, it has a lot more features than standard SE phones, but also makes getting to them that much more difficult.

Also, even though the 3.2MP non-autofocus camera in the N80 is inferior to the K750i's 2.0MP unit, the video capture is much better. What is unforgivable is the poor synchronisation... I could not send my contacts from an SE phone to the Nokia, or from my Mac to the Nokia. This should have been sorted out years ago! All my SE phones sync my contacts and calendar with my Palm, iPod and Mac. Not the Nokia!

I think each handset should be judged on what it tries to do, and what it does badly... All the N-Series are a bit like freaky experiments.

The N93 is unique in a way... the dedicated 3D graphics card for games. And no DVB-H despite it opening like the N92... Also, unforgivably huge. The thing about the mid-range SE phones is that they have great usablity and very high-end features, in normal sized packages. The N-Series phones try to fit in everything... and then add a little bit more on top... I think I went for the N80 as it is the smallest one, and the least weird.

Now if SE made the next P-series look like the Sony DSC-T9...
