i had a bad experience with joysticks..
i once had a k750 with a 4gig mspd inside. i have 800plus mp3s in it. scrolling down to a lot of files made my ex-k750 joystick go haywire. it was not responding to my directional presses anymore. i need to make use of the keypad shortcuts just to get around the menu.. it was so traumatic i vowed not to use a phone with joystick anymore..
i thought: what good is a phone, with an excellent camera, with a load of files inside the capacious memory card, when one can not navigate through menus and functions?
its good swerved away from joysticks now.

hi all, what i do to prolog my joystick is i take a lint free cloth and fold it four times. i then take the corner of the cloth and dab it on my licked wet lips. i then gently clean the area around the joy stick picking up all the dust. remember to rotate the cloth.

best (real) joystick ever build is k810. short, hard & awesome. (much better then k750, k800, etc)
i do prefer c902 D-pad

This phone just will not break for me. The joystick has been shit for the last 18 months or so, I've had the phone since release. I've dropped it into the washbasin with the water running, several drops into the floor just as well as concrete. After several years of usage I of course know every in and out of this cell phone, and the only negative thing I have to say about it really is the joystick, so I have not found that reason enough to purchase a new one just yet I wish SE would release something like w902 except with WLAN and faster menus. |

Your sony ericsson will never be faulted if you take care of them, every single SE phone i've had has never broken where my motorola's always break, same samsung, same lg, same network braded (i.e. Vodafone VF810 and stuff) and all phone brades ive had excluding se.
Thats why i always sorry [B]sometimes[B/] always buy se phones
well currently my main phone is a k660 i dont bring my x1 out jest in case some one steals it.
but i love se and i know i will never ever buy another phone brand apart from SE and somtimes for [B]Second Phone's[B/] only i would buy a nokia
