I expected the newer SE handsets to have Symbian OS on them (I don't know why - maybe I *am* as thick as I look)
The 300 doesn't have Symbian does it? |

I have the same question as well - I've got a t68i and my wife has a t300 - I was looking at a BT car kit but I would like to use the t300 with it as well. Cytech, do you have any idea if the DBA-10 will work with t300, have you ever seen anyone try this. According to website it is not on the accessory list, but I've seen that list have mistakes before... |

The T300 works with the DBA-10. I have heard that not all T300's work with the DBA-10 though I'm at a loss as to why. I have used with 3 T300's and it works fine with all of them. One thing to remember is tha the DBA-10 only support The Headset Profile and the DUN Serial profile, so you will not be able to transfer files with a PC, but you will be able to dial up using a PC with bluetooth. The DBA-10 is also only BT 1.0b not 1.1 as most current bluetooth devices.

well i have both t68i and t300. Simple take your t68i and drop it to the floor until untill half of the stuff is not working. Voila, you have t300.
Ok you can download games and polyphonic music, but where when there is no memory for that???
And so cool you can change frontplate, how nice. But for some unknown reason SE is having problems making those covers, so you cannt really buy them, but you can have fun taking same cover on and off. |

You are correct Potok, with one exception, dropping a t68i until several features are not working would leave you with a VERY expensive T300. I got mine with an MCA-25 for $99. The T68i would have run me $250 without the MCA-25, another 150 for that retial!
Add to that the fact that the T300 has downloadable games...check some out at mophungames.com, they are very cool! The T300 is a great entry color screen phone for the younger generation, and for those that do not care for bluetooth, or syncing. It has MMS, Polyphonic Ring Tones, Downloadable games, and the MCA-25 to boot! I'd say thats plenty!

i would never change my t68i to the t300 for a few reasons:
yeah it may be able to download games but it doesn't have as much memory.
no bluetooth, and as technology advances ull regret not having it.
it may have polyphonic ringtones but its ugly as anything and is more like a brick.
so all round i would much rather ave a t68i as it is the sleakest fone around

IMHO is the major draw-back of the T300 is that they have taken away the calendar ... probably to make sure that business users won't buy the cheaper phone.
My brother were thinking of getting the 300, but thanks to the calendar issue did he end up with an ole' T65 instead
I will stay with my T68 for a while longer, but it would be better if it didn't get broken all the time...

I don't want to buy T300 because it's features will bot enough for me . I use T68i and it's great of features( I read that Java will be come T68i) if java come to T68i, only one differences will be become polifonomic tones but every one said that t300's memory small but in fact if ý don't have T68i, i will buy T300 because of it's price and some features |
