The answer to that is simple. Its called the joys of owning a 
Put up with it. I love my W550. Sure it has it flaws (only a few) but imo its a better phone than some of the previous offerings.
If it was awful I wouldn't have had mine in constant use for the past 2 months. It would have been sold by now.
People on here know how much I change my phones and I've had nearly all 's that have been avaiable bar the W900. Don't have any reason to rush out and buy one myself.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose  |

does anyone know if the phone can acces the BT exchange folder in windows(not using SP, stinks  )
i was able to do that with my T610, that's very handy |

Yes. You dont read much do ya ? If you thought of using the search feature first before asking you would see that it already been covered.
The 'loop' thing is the phones antenna. Exactly the same as found on the Z520 and 's Japan Premini range.

ty 4 d info mr. well read.i'm not the kinda person who likes to compromise&the w550i is a compromise for those who can't afford a w800i,which is why i never really did any research on this budget walkman phone.i can understand why u r so upset on my small query.when you make a compromise in life u have to defend it to save ur face&that frustration has led to anger in ur case.

Compromise ?
I think not. Again if you look through the posts here on Esato you will see that I own/have owned every handset since the T68i. Only one I'm not bothered with is the W900.
What bothers me is when people post utter bollocks straight away instead of getting some previous background info in the subject(s) they're commenting on.
What the W800 has over the W550:
2mp camera with auto focus
Up to 2gb external memory (32mb internal)
Thats it.
What the W550 has over the W800:
Twin speakers (much louder and clearer than W800)
Better gaming along with dedicated buttons.
Updated Walkman software
Over the air software updates (the first phone to have this feature)
Customisable facias
Much better reception signal (no loss of call)
UI is much faster.
Theres more than this.
Oh W550 has a D pad instead of fragile joystick that breaks easily.
The W550 is cheaper due to not including a 2mp camera and external memory. Just think if had included these features (Look at the W900)

@rookwise,i was offended by your assumption about my reading prowess which was totally uncalled for.i was not criticising you,just that thingy on the w550i,but u made it personal with that comment which led to my post.think 'bout it,if every1 would do their own research&work on a trial&error basis,there would be no need for such forums.v all r very important people in our respective worlds having our respective likes&dislikes/opinions but let's not make it personal.u have been here 2 years now while i'm just 2 weeks thru on esato,i'm still getting 2 know u guys.take it easy.
btw,i have always preferred the dpad to a flimsy joystick.

1. Usability of the UI when compared to SE
2. Reliability
3. Bluetooth compatibility
4. Syncing with Windows Outlook Express
X700 is 1,500 Rs cheaper than W550i ...so i am in bit of a muddle pls help...but i have never used a samsung before...but CNET Asia has given X700 a Editor's choice |

As far as reliablity is concerned SE fones r more reliable than the samsung ones.Plus the w550 is a walkman fone.N the SE UI is usually better than samsung. |
