As you're not getting answers... we probably don't know...

First of all, is your problem caused by the phone firmware? Or is it Disc2Phone? Have you tried uploading your music files manually or using other software?

Anyhow, you should get the latest firmware using SEUS. Did you try "Update Service" or "Update Service II"?
Maybe the first version hasn't been updated with the newest firmware?

Try this version:

I wouldn't recommend downgrading. I don't even know if it's possible, but I really hate the MS corruption bug earlier FW had.

i also experienced that on my k750i, there is this one mp3 my k750 cant play but it plays in my winamp, so whatt i did was re-encode the mp3, and that solves the problem.

yeah, re-encode if you haven't done so yet. Just to be sure use a different encoder, and also try aac format (dbpoweramp or itunes).

However there is a file transfer bug on R1N, which is fixed in R1AA. The only way you'll get R1AA is to change your cda with davinci then flash again with seus, or get R1AA itself from davinci or similar. Only way.

The file transfer bug I think only affects usb cable - so have you tried to bluetooth the songs to the phone? If you do so and the bluetoothed songs work fine then your problem is likely the file transfer bug, fixable only by upgrading or downgrading your firmware (again, davinci or suchlike).

Also, try plugging the usb cable into every usb port on your computer (including any usb hubs), letting it detect the W800 on each port in turn. This trick has worked for some. Also make sure you have the latest usb drivers from sony, make sure the fastport connectors are clean, yada yada (I'm sure you've checked the basics).
