Guys, I have an absolutely slow connection - dial up, and it would take me forever to download the new update service. Could anyone be so kind as to send me the file via e-mail? The add to use is godwin.kanongovere@zw.pwc.com
Thanks!
If it is to be it is up to me! |

For all people with the Flash-problem:
http://fpdownload.macromedia.[....]eta/install_flash_player_8.msi
Install this file and you'll be good.
I had latest flash player (8.0.22) but only installed for use with Firefox but the problem wen't away after installing that MSI.
There is absolutely no need to change Internet Explorer version! |

I know that one of the requirements for the Update Service is the DSS-25 deskstand. My question is this: Will the DSS-20 work as well?
Thanks.

Not sure if this is addressed anywhere, but I've read this thread as well as the last one relating to the new version of SEUS and haven't seen my issue listed.
When I doubleclick on the icon Update Service, I get an hour glass for less than a second and then NOTHING!
I've tried this on 3 different computers, one of which is brand new with WinXP SP2 and the latest Macromedia Flash Player and I get no different results... Any ideas? |

Had this problem as well. If you've installed the latest Flash player from Adobe then you need to run the following "regsvr32.exe C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\Macromed\\Flash\\Flash9.ocx" without the quotes for windows to recognise it. |

Hi!
Tried updating my K800i phone and same "flash incompatibility appeared".
Tried a couple of stuff and luckily I was able to make mine work. Hopefully, this will work with you:
1. Go to c:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\
2. Double click on / Run "FlashUtil9b.exe" (in my case i found two flashutil9a & flashutil9b) ---
a. Click on "Install Now"
b. after 1.1mb of download
"The Adobe Flash Player update completed successfully.
The new version will be available when you restart your system."
3. Restart your PC.
4. Run "update software"
Pray that it will work.
*Note: you should have internet connection for flash to update.
