That eBay link says 'Item has ended'.
I wonder if he sold them all?
US$869 = approx NZ$1250
When W800i was released here it sold for NZ$899 with pre release models selling for NZ$1000. Note: W800i released in NZ in October.
I think NZ$1250 is a reasonable price for those features, and available some 3-4 months before NZ release.
Not in my budget though unfortunately.
Otherwise, I'd have ordered days ago.

yeah man the phone will still work in the USA. There are some UMTS networks in the US with cingular. only in the major cities though and its very expensive. But you can still use GSM 900 (t-mobile) and gprs. |

@Rekoil
Somebody is selling me a W900i. I want to be sure that I'm not getting a proto or a unit that has a pre-release version of the current firmware. The seller said that the phone is one of the first to come out.

cracker, have a look at the sticker behind the battery, check what week it is. if its a proto it will say on the sticker....
also try entering the service menu

and checking the software version from there...

@batesie
That's why I need to know the latest firmware version of the W900i.
What's the point of checking the service menu if I don't know what's suppose to be there. Anyway, thanks for the info.
