I've had it for a month now (v 1.0) and it has been a pleasure. Now I'm trying v 1.1. It's nice to have it in my own language (Swedish). It's also good, that all history are saved from the last version. But not the bookmarks.

@masseur
Silly question I suppose, but have you changed the jave settings to the correct wap vodaphone settings?

yeah, I've tried both vodafone data connections that I have, thats the wap/gprs and the internet/gprs but no luck

those data connections work fine for built-in wap browsing and for sending and receiving emails so I know they are correct

Opera Rock! Best way to surf the net on my K750i. Can I use Opera Mini to browse wap sites? If so can someone tell me the 02 Active UK WAP site address?

Many thanks

Is its display ( Menus, Red layout) same as the old opera mini?

Not working here for me v.1.0 had been working fine, went to the Opera site on WAP and downloaded 1.1 - it asked if I wanted to overwrite my previous settings, I agreed (allowing it to overwrite previous settings) and it installed. Loads fine but whenever I try to click on any links I get "A communication error occurred. Your browsing experience might be limited (error: 10, response: 400, ip: http://193.69.116.43:80/)".

Trying to access that URL brings up a password login where the realm is noted as being Opera mini transcoder. Assuming the response of '400' relates to HTTP error codes then this would imply a 'malformed request'?!

I've double checked and the Java settings on my phone (K750i) are definitely set to use the Orange Internet profiles rather than the WAP or MMS ones.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Alan

PS I tried deleting Opera and re-downloading - it now has lots of extra useful links in Bookmarks (that was previously empty when I updated) but still the same communications error.

Excellent - that new build works for me! Glad to see it wasn't something in my setup after all.

Cheers
