This is my theory about world war 3. The US attack on iraq was just a kind of 'stage practice' for the main attack to be later done on china. The US , UK and australia combine forces and launch an attack on china. China, russia and the two koreas join hands. Simultaneously pak attacks on india. Rest of europe is divided. Half of them are on US's side and the rest with china/russia...... and when will all this happen.....
well, the script is just getting done...

KBR, this is getting interesting, boet. So far i agree that the reasoning is sound, all of the above have the makings for a World War. The question that i've been mulling over since i started reading is where Africa will stand in terms of division along religious/political lines.

Ww3 will definitely see many advanced weapons. Apart from nuclear strikes, there will be use of biological wmd. The US will definitely prove itself to be a greater terrorist than Osama bin Laden. Which, imo, it already is. The only difference between their modes of hostility is that they prefer diplomatic hostility. Also, in ww3 we will stand to witness an army of clones.

Indonesia don't have nukes If they did my country would be buying Nukes off the US, without a question of a doubt. (Australia) |

I'm not too worried, I trust our intelligence agencies to know full well what Indonesia's capabilities are. Over here our authorites actually catch the terrorists BEFORE the attack, and it was only the state police who nailed the cell, not even the feds .

The risk of WW3 is just too great.
The North Korea issue was very worrying for me. They actually fired a missile over the Sea of Japan- which could have contained a warhead. Just one bomb on a Japanese city would send stock-markets crashing around the world.
The US is using a diplomatic approach and multi-lateral dialogue to engage North Korea but I don't think it will use the same approach with the Taiwan issue.
Anyway, it is predicted that a lack of fresh water and natural resources will be the cause of many wars this century.

Who said that world war 3 is a remote possibility??? It is infact, GOING ON.
Who is waging this war?? The US.
Against whom? Most of the world.
How? Diplomatically. The us through many organisations, which are just namesake, like OPEC, WTA, the us is trying to maintain its unchallenged control over the world. For eg. the oil producing nations (read the gulf) have a constraint on the amount of oil they can produce. Who puts this? Opec (read The USA). They do this in a way that suits them the most. Similarly through another dummy organisation, the wta, the us has been exercising control on world trade.
So who says that everything is at peace. Underneath the cold exterior, matters arent that cold. Like a slow growing virus, the us is trying to establish world domination. Aint that war ??

Nail right on the head Bluequill.
Economic imperialism. And they resort to using military forces to ensure their economic survival when they can't get their own way through diplomacy and competitive trading.
The sooner the US realises it's own national security doesn't rely on it's ability to manipulate the world so that they stay on top economically, the sooner the world can get on with free trade and free commerce. The US the biggest arguer for free trade when it pertains to other nations, but not when it comes to their own affairs.
If they can't compete on a level playing field, then they should get out of the damn game.
