Try right clicking on the drive and selecting "eject" before you unplug the phone, this should flush any data floating about to the card...

Hi!
I have a problem with my Sony Ericsson W380i. For the past few days, I can't access the memory stick in the phone. I formated it few days ago, and when I insert it in the phone, it asks if I want to format it, what I do using my phone. But when I try to access the content of the memory stick, It says the memory stick is not inserted.
Trying to bring the memory stick to my computer, It says, no disk is inserted. So now, I can't format it again using my computer.
At the same time, I got a problem with my external hard disk. When I connect it to my computer, I can see that the disk is connected, but it won't appear in "My computer". When I check computer management, I see that the disk is inserted, but not partitioned. What can I do to fix these two problems? Anyone to help me? Thx!
