SE has got a factory in brazil aswell. the T230 and T290 are made overthere. but i don't think they'll be shiped to europe or asia.
and ofcrouse the phones produced by arima (T100/105 Z200 J200/210/300 and K300) are made in taiwan.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

how effective are these factories? is there any control according the quality? we got here lately so many threads about the quality...

Here is the article I mentioned.
It says they decided to produce Walkman phone is all of their own factories.

thats the name of the manufacturer, thats right, but it doesnt mean, that the fone was made in sweden. the sticker in the fone itself shows, where the fone was actually made.

there is written ( or should be ) : made in china and the date of manufacturing, looks like this: 35w05

oh, my mistake, i wrote the date wrong. so it was made in 2005 and 35th week. and where was it made?

it has barcode on top
then in left side its writtev approved by IDA for use in Singapore
in right some nos are there and at bottom barcode and SE W800i written..
Nowhere its mentioned made in.....

sorry, but are u checking the box the fone came in or the fone itself? the sticker i mean is under the batt. there should be written where it was made...

Think SE would ensure same standards (hopefully Good) across their Manufacturing or Contracted facilities, yet am thankful for not having black marks (made in China). /// T10s was European, T310 was Malaysia, ditto 610 (i think), P8 was France. Not sure but think the 910 is of Swedish make. And my trusty S700 is Jp thats been almost a year, the batt. on it though says Made in Japan Finished in China - Yeah Rite, once you are in China you are finished LoL

i guess your t610 was from china, personally never saw any from malaysia.
