miss uk, macs don't crash and they don't have virus's also i can move stuff around easily on my powerbook whereas if i did that on my pc it gets fooked and brings loads of error's up.
Maybe my fault but i had anti virus and loads of anti spyware programs and everything and it didnt make a difference.
I was always a windows girl too but easily converted, come on joolsg4 were are you
Just kidding if you like pc's then stick with them.

Well the both a little dated now but the amd is the better gaming pc (video cards helps) runs doom 3, farcry, half life 2 all pretty smooth.
IMO i prefer AMD over pentiums
P4
AMD

I use an Acer Travelmate 3201Xci laptop, with 1.5Ghz Centrino, (+1Mb on level DIE Cache = Equiv 3.0Ghz P4), 512mb Ram, 60GB HDD, 64mb Ati Radio 9700 Graphics + Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, DVD+-RW, etc etc, its okay, getting old now tho, (a year old tomorrow!!!)
Thinking of getting an iMac G5, but I'm also tempted to hold out for the intel macs....

yeah all my friends recommend amd.
This xmas i wanna build my own pc, i'm thinking getting athlon 64 socket 939, with nvidia nforce 4 motherboard, video card nvidia geforce 6600 256mb. but my only consideration is, current amd motherboard only support ddr not ddr2 i bet the performance of ddr2 533 is far more faster than ddr 400, & ddr2 hav wider data bandwith! oh my, why amd didn't use ddr2?

If you stick 1Gb of ram in it, you can have two sticks of 512Mb configured in dual channel mode. I don't know what the benchmarks show in comparison to DDR2, but it performs pretty damn well in real terms.
As long as you use an A64 3400+ or higher with 1 Gb of RAM and a decent card, you can't really go wrong.
