WARNING: Off topic philosofical rambling to follow:
------------------------------------------------

"Free rights to bear arms for selfdefence"
Now where have I heard that before ?
Ah - From the land of the great, which accidently boast of some of the highest murderrates in the world. Where kids get shot in school or the streets by other kids.

Which would be the safer place - the one where everyone carry a weapon for selfdefence, or the one where noone carry a weapon for selfdefence ??

pardon my simplistic view, I am aware that its not allways as simple as that, and Im truly sad for those living in places where its needed, but isnt the right to bear arms itself one of the main reasons for the need of the right to bear arms for selfdefence ?

Basically that is what it boils down to. If noone had weapons, there would also be very litle need for "weapons for selfdefence"

The right to bear arms, is an ever escalating circle of death.
It cannot be any different no matter the arguments.

My guns are used for practical Pistol. And are self contained co2. Different people have different morals, he's lucky that he can take actions if someones goes within his property. People like us that lives in the UK can't even harm the perpatraitors as they have every right to sue us. What kinda law is that, Yer damn right i'll shoot the Mofo that comes into our land which poses a potential threat.

Dude, listen We are in 2006 now, the world is as you can see.... is ??? needless to say not at its best. and as time progresses not you or any one else one this earth can change what this world has became to be.
Its not a fairy tale, its not a childerns book and its far from perfert..it will get worse not better. even the governments are croocked. Even if an international law came out banning guns worldwide, someone would still provide them illegaly to the bad guys for a price. and they would eventually fall in the hands of the wrong people.

And Thats why I keep mine near by and close by. and if you are standing to close then I won't waste my 9mm bullets, thats what the Katana's for.
Thank you for the posts on why this pics came out so bad. thank you
I love this freaken K750i, I wish it could shoot bullets! maybe next time SE..

the world gone on some way crazy, indeed, but i dont think that the best solution to face the future is the the cowboy way: first shoot, then ask...

Like I said, Im sad for those living in places where weapons is needed.
I wasnt offended by your weapons, and If I lived the same place as you, Id propably have weapons myself.

Im all for the right to selfdefence, Im just saying that selfdefence shouldent have to be by means of weapons. I know the world is a shitty place, I know there are bad guys, but if you try to take a step back and look at the bigger perspective instead there are some mechanisims.

When people bear arms for selfdefense, the mechanism is not that the bad guys then stop bearing arms, the mechanism is that the bad guys get bigger guns, then you have to get bigger guns, law inforcement need bigger guns, then bad guys get even bigger guns, and so on, and so on. Bearing arms doesnt remove crime, it only makes it more deadly, and escalates the violence.

I live in a small country with 6 million people, we have traditionally allways had very very strict laws agains weapons of any kind. This doesnt mean we dont have crime or bad guys, but it does mean that even amongst bad guys and in crimes, we very very seldom see the use of guns, simply because its not needed. It does mean that of those 6 million people only 10-15 people get killed per year from gunshots. Now compare that to the statistics of any 6 million state/town in your country. It does mean that we have never ever had a single child shot in our schools or in the streets, simply because guns are so difficult to come by. It does mean that though we have crime like everywhere else, the nature of crimes is less violent, less deadly. When someone burglars your house, and he doesnt carry a weapon, and you also do not have a weapon, the risk of anyone of you getting killed is so much smaller. If you come home and surprise a burglar in my country, he doesnt try to kill you, and you dont need to kill him, he simply trys to run away. If you get in an argument with someone on the freeway, or anywhere else, he doesnt suddenly reach for his arms and start firing, simply because he cant.
Strict guncontrol doesnt remove crime, but it does lower the killingrate within crime/selfdefense, and it certainly does affect the minds of kids growing up in a positive way, thus lowering the need for guns for selfdefence. Sure, you cant remove killing over night, and its not a fairyland, but its a matter of how we bring up our children, what we teach them defines how the world will become. The world may be a shitty place, but if we ever want to try and change that, we have to take a standpoint at some time, we have to start somewhere, we have to teach our children respect for human life, we have to teach our childrens different ways of conflictsolving. So that when they grow up to become stateleaders they will have better ways of conflictsolving than armed forces.

The K750 can take good pics in very low light:

enough with the OT posts. i suggest you try to take pics with light and nightmode enabled. is it worth buying flash mxe, it's too expensive... you can buy another digicam 2.0 (CCD) at the same price.

oh well, it's still nice to have 2MP cam, ipod-like sounds, full-featured mobile phone all in one device.

cheers

The MXE-60 is dead cheap on E-bay! Heck, I got mine for under £10!! And that's WITH shipping!! Personally I don't use it much cos I don't go out as much as I used too (postgrad student see?) but heck for a tenner I'd get another one!

Oh and btw, the pics will be 20x better, trust me!
