Just updated w/ China firmware  Someone please post changes. From what I heard it just improves battery a lil and I heard it makes earpiece louder and bluetooth audio better... Anyone please confirm and/or add to that. THANKS |

I haven't noticed any differences what so ever compared to R1N035. No bugfixes and no new bugs as far as I know. |

I think, but i might be wrong, that the sharpness has gotten a tad better when looking a pictures and so on. But that´s the only positive thing with R1NA005.

Ok So If I flash my K750i on Davinci to:
W800i R1N035
CDA102425/6 Generic UK
Europe_1
Then use SEUS, will it update me to W800i R1NA005 or will it roll me back to some weird K750i firmware?
Basically I have a K750i running W800i firmware CDA102337/10 R6A EUROPE1 (not sure what this is) and I want to go to W800i R1NA005
Any tips?

SEUS wont allow it and it will simply wont let u use it..
ps your using wrong CDA code for your W800i
the one u have is for the K750s only..

You cannot use SEUS to update your phone anymore. You just have to wait for DaVinci to release the R1NA005. It should be out in the coming week... |

everything was fine, until i try to load the files on MS via the usb cable. I got errors from my pc while opening the files. Then i unpluged the usb cable, took out the MS and pluged it into the card reader, thanks god, all files are still there and fine.

I got R1NA005 from the US SEUS site and the shutter sound in camera mode and video rec mode is not there. It is only on when silent mode is off. |

Where can I find the DUTCH R1NA005 firmware? I have an Orange branded W800i and last night I have updated my phone to R1N035  and this firmware sucks bigtime!!!!
Who can tell me if I am already able to update to R1N005 using Seus? Because I already tried today but then SEUS tells me that my phone is up to date. Is this because I have an Orange Branded phone??

Well, i don´t know about you guys but i´ve had enough of this "waiting and hoping for the best when the next firmware comes out-business". A firmware shouldn´t make a product worse/lesser!
So i will, come monday, call the call center and the support center and tell them that they have to fix my phone (that is make it like it was when i bought it, because my purchase is off course made/based on the specifics and functions that where when i bought it) or replace it with a phone with the firmware that where on my phone when i boght it! I currently run R1NA005. My main issue is the crappy sound on the mp3 player when listening to soft songs on low volume (see my earlier posts)
Anyway i think i´ve got a little better chans then a snowball in hell! hehe
My argument and bottomline is: the phone has gotten a lot worse/works unsatisfactionally since i bought it.
I bought it over 28 eight days ago so i can´t just turn it back.

i have this firmware as well n my w800i.
and gotta tell you only had problems with it untill now.
1) camera quality has gotten worse. with the old software i could make pictures without using the night mode when there was less light. now if i try this i get cheap pictures that look like are made by a cheap webcam. although this problem goes away if i use the night mode, it gives a lag on my screen using nightmode. so actually the camera has gotten less sensitive to light and i have to use night mode earlier.
2) the mega bass option has been totally screwed. i can't hear the difference between the drums and the basses. really shitty. it worked really good with the old firmware.
3) i hear this weird sound, it's not very loud, and very hard to hear. but you can hear it if you pause a song. or listen to the beginning of a song. you hear a sound like there is wind coming through some hole.
4) i don't see the thumbnails of some pictures in the 'camera pictures' directory, they are just black. i can see them in all other directories i have made on my memorystick.
that's what i have come across untill now. lets see what more i see. gotta tell you i don't understand SE policies. i mean why the hell mess with things that were working correctly. |

Let´s see what SE says when i call them tomorrow! I´m going to tell them to fix it or give me a new phone with the old working firmware!
And i also can tell them that people all over the world is really pissed off at them!
This is an warranty issue and to me clearly is a "warranty fault/defect". |

I have also udated to R1NA005, but still got this problem:
1) It becomes very hard to get to service menu. I have to try many times to get to this menu even I press >*<<*<* in the right order. I don't sure about the problem in my joystick or "*" button because these two are good on others menu.
2) Disc2Phone still can't save MP3 on memory stick.
and gotta tell you only had problems with it untill now.
3) I still don't know with the camera quality cus not yet compated it.
4) Yes, the equalizer has been totally screwed! I can hear weird sound/noisy in manual setting.
5) Got problem in some video files.
6) Have no problem with the thumbnails of some pictures in the 'camera pictures' directory, so far.
7) Still annoying for me since the first firmware: Message delivery report notification doesn't disappear after a few seconds like on previous SE before K750.
 This make me confuse: Even the software is R1NA005, the CDA is still for R1N035 (?) (CDA: 102430/101 R3A cxc 1250093 R1N035 APAC_1)
Anyone have similar or other problems?
