Many of us dont have problems with specific brands. Its just that most of the phones we hate happen to be made by one particular manufacturer

No that isnt what you said. I dont like phone not because they are made by a certain manufacturer but becasue they are either ugly or just poor in general. This has absolutely nothing to do with who makes them though.
You claim its because we are biased to certain brands. |

Well, i've heard my 6600 referred to as a horse's egg  but what do we call the 3250? Versatile, yes, but attractive, nope, not imho.
