well i've thought of making one so i wnet and bought an led. 5V green. but it wasn;t brigth enough. it was very dim and didn't actually project any lgiht in pitch darkness. how si teh one in the photo so bright? |

what vold led is needed? and how do you solder the led in? arnt the conections too far down in the charger bit? and how do you turn the led on/off?

The flash-light and the IR-pointer from SE is out for sale in Sweden real soon. The webshop www.jt.nu has put a price on them.
About $8 (79 SEK) for the flash light and $12 (120 SEK)for the IR pointer.
The bad thing is that they have not given a release date yet. =(
Is those for sale any other place in the world yet?

Maybe all you guys can....take a minute to go to search and find the huge article in which i mad ehte first copy of the SE lamp..... then aikonklst and others joined in the fun.....the indian gy was second (sorry cant remember your name)......ejasim!!!! your stupid i made like five of them and sold for 100 dhs!!  but i used power full LEDS that cost like 20 ...any how i sold Dhiraj one....ill ask him to post pics...i never took pics of the small one the blue and white lights....they wer strong mofo's .....and they were just regular 3v it depends on led Amps for intensity....

What a normal flash-light does... lighting up things in the dark maybe... and the IR-pointer is used to point at things like in a presentation or something... or something...

I was initially excited to see something like this at first, but I mean, it's just a flash light that you attach to your cell phone, after all.
With all the accessories that Sony's selling, are you really gonna keep all these little bits and pieces of attachments and go through the trouble of attaching them to your phone everytime (which is once in awhile) you'll need it? |
