I think nokia 7650 supports cs 1-4 as stated at
http://www.nokia.com/gprs/qa_starting.html
all nokia's gprs mobile supports CS1-4. Just network dont...
If mobile will be using cs4 it will consume much more energy...so it will be not so effecient... but hey i want! cs4 capable network anyway:). |

Why would you like to use T9 on the P800 when it has Handwriting Recognition? T9 will surely be slower than writing by hand. |

Writing by hand you need both hands, or a surface to have the phone on. T9 is fast and easy and it only requires one hand.

I am waiting for the P800 just as much as the next person but i hear rumours of a 7650i due for release Xmas/New year with multi media card slot, Video, Bluetooth headset profile and polymer battery. At this rate if SE are not careful Nokia will have to a phone to compete with the P800 like for like both out at the same time. It would be such a shame but then as everybody knows Nokia does not stand still for long.

i work temporary at A&E Telecom and i had the oppurtunity to play with the 7650. its a nice phone, really nice but compared to the specifications of the p800 it is not so good. Oprefer the P800... I search for the option background and i couldnt find it. I took a picture of my boss and wanted to make it a backround on the display but i couldnt find it, maybe i didnt look good... With the t68i its very simple. And the joystick SUX !!! its hard very hard, ur fingers get tired after an hour or something like that...
The keypad is not super but it is ok...
I was able to take few pictures... The surprising thing was that i could send pictures from the 7650 to my T68i and it worked I used bluetooth to send it and it was sended, after i opened the picture i saw that the picture was converted and the quality was down... The picture wasnt fullscreen but a little bit smaller than the pictures we are used...
I also uploaded images from the 7650 to the laptop we have in the shop. The quality is not that bad. and when u take a picture from a distance of more than 4 meters it is not all detailed until u send it to the pc.. when u open it in 640x480 (they are all .jpg files) u see all the details and the rest...
There are only two games and they suck... Snake and another weird name. Snake is coloured obviously but its not super... with the pther game u have to slide cut images and bla bla..
I was not so surprised as i was thinking... But it was cool to have a 7650 in ur hand and play...
(Maybe some of the people already knew this, sorry i mentioned it again. just wanted to share my thoughts...)
The price = €629 (Without a contract, with a one year contract €400... its not expensive as i thought it would...)
And by my chance the distribiteur of the phones (The person where we orders our phones) came by...I asked them when the p800 will come and what the price will be...he did not know... he did not get any information yet !!! > he will call and tell me when he has it ...YES !!! i hope it will be soon...wanna buy it...cant wait after i saw 7650...i know for sure the p800 is better....
