i couldn't agree more with vanquish. maybe se is now trying to take the 1st place using nokia's strategy (degrading quality of materials used). anyway if you saw guarantees we get with the phone you wouldn't know whether to laugh or cry. (e.g. antenna, cover, lcd, keypad, speaker, mic, receiver, hybrid and many many more parts are not covered by guarantee)

Told you the z800 was better!

Anyway, have you seen the video recording quality! I was disgusted when I saw it, I think K700 was better. Well it is if you compare it on a PC. Clearly beaten by the Z800, and the build quality is much better. [addsig]

I have the same problem, it annoys me, but I don't really think is a reason to return a phone.
Anyway, what I wanted to point out is that in my case the squeaky sound is NOT coming for the back cover at all, but actually from the plastic that covers the keyboard, specifically around the 'C' key area.
Is kind of loose and it looks like the crazyglue idea to have it stay put doesn't sound that... well, crazy...

Anyone having the same problem?

@vanquish - Is the camera really so bad? I think it's one of the most decent phone cams (minus the video portion) in the market at the current moment. Let's be realistic and not expect it to match a dedicated digital cam (which are 4mp and above nowadays) but for casual , impromptu shots it works pretty well.
Did you play around with it enough to get some nice shots?

Anyway V3 may have a nice exterior, but the cam sucks big time (V3x may be another story though) and the software user interface is terrible. Even some V3 users are confused by it and I had to help them out when they were trying to send me a pic.

Yup, as I said, I have the same problem. Crazy glue? I might try putting some kinda lubricant there. The crazy glue plan is my backup plan...

Oh, and its not some kinda "fetischism" (whatever that means), the squeak does exist.

Yeah, the K750i has a few flaws but it is still a good phone. Its squeaky like hell but I'll have to live with it because it can do soo much.

vanquish, your saying nonsense about k750 camera...

iīm a amateur photographer myself, and from experience i know this: compared in daylight photography, k750 equals any point&shoot camera for small prints or web displaying...

Itīs a great backup camera for any person that like Photography as an art, because you canīt always have your advanced digital camera or dslr with you

having said that, i agree the materials of k750 could be better, but theyīre not so bad as some say...

about the price quality - well, itīs being sold here in portugal by Optimus Telecom for little more than 200 euros - i say itīs GREAT price for a wonderfull digital camera + excelent media player + phone

My brother has a 40 gb Iriver...since he bought a k750 + 1gb card, the Iriver is getting dust at home

Maybe it's time to agree to disagree then... Some ppl obviously intensely dislike certain things about SE, whilst others claim not to notice them. The same can be said of Nokia, Moto, Samsung, Sony, General Electric, Toyota, Ford, the brand of boots i prefer, etc. It's time to let it go...

totally agree man!

It's a decent camera in an mp3 playing phone with expandable memory. It may not appeal to everyone, but it certainly has a lot going for it.

It's a decent camera in an mp3 playing phone with expandable memory+shoved into a very creaky casing.
But I'm still kinda happy with it !
