"The Xperia Z and ZL will be available in
different markets, but Sony refused to
reveal more details on that."

Damnnnn ZL makes the Z look like nothing special. Sometimes it's hard being a Sony fan, can't get what u want in one complete package. |

"The Sony Xperia ZL is not a completely
different device but rather a variation of
the Xperia Z, which will be available
instead of it in some markets. The
regions where the two devices are
available will not overlap, instead the ZL
will replace the Z in some regions."
Damn them! I love Odin. Although, if it uses the previous gen exmor sensor, puts me in a dilemma :/
Guys. If everyone is on chat, mind sharing tidbits of info here..there are folks who can't log on
Thanks!

it has exmor rs. but the precious gen sensor. xperia T/TX had. According to gsmarena
it's in the whitepaper I guess. only T has the new stacked sensor. anyone confirm this?

Z And zl are the first phones to use the Exmore RS sensor. The previous sensor was Exmore R The front camera uses the Exmore R sensor.

Don't worry guys, It's just too early to know for sure, remember when T + TX launched, one was mentioned using the old SoC
Edit : the press release confimed it, it uses the new Exmore RS and not the older one...

From The Verge
Like the LG Nexus 4, the Z features Gorilla Glass on both the front and the back panels, which is certainly an attractive look. We're not so sure it will be able to withstand many falls or tumbles however, which is always the problem with phones made of glass.
The Xperia Z's display may match competitors for resolution and pixel density, but when it came to viewing angles and saturation, it wasn't as impressive as the other 1080p screens we have seen recently. As is commonly the case with Sony displays, the Z's screen looks washed out and quickly fades as you begin to view it off-angle.
Gorilla Glass?
Viewing Angles?
