If you'd back up a few pages in this thread you would see that there are a few pending (valid looking) release dates for the X1. So we are definitely getting close to the end of the wait  Whether SE is successful with this or not doesn't matter to me...as long as I get the phone.
You guys that are "jumping ship" shouldn't waste your money on inferior "X1 replacements" because, once the X1 is released, you are going to be buying it anyhow out of sheer lust  |

Look at the date in the Xperia Panels - It's there.
It always been there since February 10 in Barcelona

I know there must be a catch somewhere. I've had a look through the advert for any 'This phone isn't released and will be sent when it is' comments, but can't see anything like that.
I find it hard to believe that it's genuine, but it seems like a lot of people have bit on it so far.
On another subject, is the Xperia due out before the C905? It's just that I've looked on several website, including play.com. The Xperia seems to be available for pre-order, with a price, etc. However, several websites I've been too don't even have an estimated price or release date for the C905. Unless I'm just looking in the wrong places. |

I wouldn't buy at that price form someone with only 15 feedbacks and only £150 PayPal protection especially as he seems to think it will have Memory Stick Micro storage when it is in fact SDHC Micro.

Who knows the correct release date so far i would say no one as i am sure SE will announce that as soon as they can and until they do i would treat all announcements with the same amount of distrust.
It obviously is getting closer but until we see reviews of final production units it can't be that close. Hopefully for those of you that want one it will be sooner rather than later and before next year.

How is it that the TouchPro is released, but, there aren't a signifigant amount of thorough hands-on reviews (in comparison to the quantity of those for X1) ? |

I think I saw a site saying theirs a 8GB micro SDHC card included in the Xperia Packaging. (may have been a clip on youtube)
if it is true That would be a welcome addition, Also would be nice of them to include some nice earphones, otherwise with the inclusion of the 3.5mm stereo jack you be able to use your own trusted pair,
I think the packaging says alot for top end device, Its the presentation and obviously the contents |
