Enter the supermode, set ISO to 100 or 200 and adjust shutter speed to get as bright picture as you want (remember that slowest shutter speeds available when Night mode is on). In this way you'll get a low noice picture but you need a very long time to get a picture (because of long exposure time) and even you can fail to get the picture if exposure time will be too long (stupid camera watchdog =( )
If you want a "fast" night shot with noice set ISO to higher values and adjust shutter speed.
It's very easy to get what you want with supermode driver =)
@SPU,
I can't find setting information for ISO in your camdriver information...is ISO 100 = 1.1 or ISO 100 = 4.0?
If 1.1 = ISO 100, then 1.2 = ISO 200, right?

@Sarmad.
What does SPOT mean?
What is this option giving?
and in my opinion 5.6 is a little bit too dark.
I have to set 0.7EV to make natural looking photo...

The only thing I did not understand is macro mode - many photos are unfocused.
its because he used manual focus settings from 21.6/21.7 which were bad... autofocus problems with macro i fixed it in 21.8/21.9 |

@666cin
nice picture. i've tested 5.6 and see nothing exceptional
about EV...
0.0 EV is just the point of the reference and you should always correct exposition for desired effect. 0.0 is good for quick photos, but great photos can be done only with proper amount of the light. good exposure is the the most valuable friend of good photos

There are 5 different focus modes in cam module.
Reduced range (normal speed), Full range (normal speed), Reduced range (fast), Full range (fast), Macro.
Orignal driver uses first and second (for macro) modes, so it hasn't macro at all. I use another modes in my driver: Full range (normal speed) and Macro. |

Some sample shots from 5.6 ... with my scratched lens.. so some parts of the picture are a bit softer than the rest but its still ok.
