My service provider (MTN) has confirmed that they have ALREADY RECEIVED STOCK but that it was in small quantities and have already been cleaned out! They expect another shipment shortly, and my name is high up on their wikkle list.
' So if South African networks (admittably our mobile networks are often on the cutting edge globally - a necessity if you think of how many DECADES behind our fixed-line operator / service is) are already receiving stock and MAKING THEM AVAILABLE then the tide is about to come in!

I have been following this thread with eager anticipation. 4th August was good news but now I hear October !!!! No.
From all the member/posters on this site someone must know somebody inside SE to get accurate information. Anybody with the right connection will be able to get good intel and put us out of our missery.
PS Hope this make it to page 198, only two pages to go.

they always say In Stock when their supplier confirm a delivery date - they did the same with the M600, its poor business practice.

Till today, there is still no confirmation from SE that the P990i will be out in August.
Right now, we are getting the standard speculating launch date of first, middle or end of any given month, nowadays it is August from the only source where everyone is getting the information, the SE UK eshop.
Even Nokia is already launching the N73 and N93 and we are still waiting for the P990i.
Will the P990i be available middle of Q3, end of Q3 or early Q4 ? It seems that SE is reluctant to launch the P990i.
Put up or shut up the P990i. I'm getting sick of reading what software is available for the P990i when the main thing the handphone is still no where in sight for the masses.

Sorry people that i expressed myself in the wrong way. I hope that the P990 will arrive soon in the shops that we can play with it. |

expansys will get stock next week.
btw, i just saw a review about P990 cam vs N93
and ques what, P990 makes the best pics on the market. the N93 has to much noize.
soon are waiting will be over, and i'm sure we'll be more then happy to finally have a new P phone in our hands
