lol concentating on fixing the video prolly gave us transfer bug. or stability bug in k750 original firmware. no matter what that feature will never be that good anyways cause of the hardware constraints same as limitations on the volume of the external speaker.
what they should be concentrating on is stability and improving the things that are fixable like volumes and sound quality on bluetooth and
headphones.
stability being the main goal before other possible "improvements"

Dont forget to store the firmware files that are on your hard disk before you update. At least then if the new firmware is buggy then you can go back to previous fw.

Do you mean you can reflash the files using SEUS or DaVinchi?

Use SEUS - when the update has downloaded, replace the downloaded files on the hard disk with the previous FW - then continue to flash the phone - the process is detailed many pages back.

i tried that, and it just crashed everytime and exits. do you rename the files? or just copy them as is into the folder? (eg, just leave them named rl00.. etc)

It happens pretty often that the servers are down at SE, but they don't take the servers down when releasing a new firmware, meaning it's probably not due to any new firmware release whatsoever.

My k750i has w800i firmware from Davinci...will I be able to use SEUS to get the new firmware when it comes out? Or will I have to use Davinci again?

Thanks! Nick.

You will have to use davinci. As i belive that SEUS will check the phones IMEI number to make sure that it is a W800. And once it sees that it is a k750, it will bail out

Nah.
If things were done properly with Davinci, you will be able tu use SEUS.
Two things must be correct:
- Correct CDA, or else you could end up with a different language or branded phone.
- Phone cerificates reverted back to RED CID. [addsig]

If you converted a K750 to a W800 then SEUS can't be used since SEUS checks the IMEI in the W800. No matter what CDA you used when flashing it with W800 there's no way to use SEUS to update in the future, so eventually you will have to keep using DaVinci when updating in the future... or you can use DaVinci to revert back to a K750 and with the correct CDA you will be able to update using SEUS afterwards since IMEI isn't checked when loaded with K750 firmware.

Remember:
K750 firmware = no IMEI check by SEUS. Good CDA = SEUS possible.
W800 firmware = IMEI check by SEUS. No matter what CDA = SEUS impossible if the phone is a K750 converted to W800 since the IMEI doesn't match a real W800.

Hopefully this never ending question now finally can come to an end!
