Are they finally going to use this? Just need to be oled.
I also need the NFC wireless charging instead of " wireless" charging.

Either way there is a premium /pro phone which is delayed for whatever reason. Patience is a virtue
Hopefully soon ~

My wishlist for XZ2P
- 16:9 screen : 5.5" , 5.7" or 6" ( preference for 6")
- Edge to edge like XA
- Not the design of XZ2
- 4x optical zoom, but no telephoto. 27mm would be great.
- Possibility to combine both sensors resolution to shoot high res pics like 24 ( 12 +12) or 31MP ( 19 +12), according to what they bring.
- Allow the ISO 51200 to be used for MANUAL MODE
- Speakers with same design ( Z5 style) if they dont make the screen as speaker
- EIS for photos ( still dont know why it has never been provided)
- QC 4.0
- Dual sim not hybrid
- Colors : chrome and gold , both with black front like Z5P.
- NFC wireless charging
- In screen FPS

No more rumours. Can't really talk about something we know literally nothing about. I mean We've already gone past the pagecount on last years thread it its only March.
Also, whats the problem with 18:9 displays? When using vertically, you have more usable screen - particularly important when you're typing and want to see more of the content you're commenting on. Also means you have more usable screen even with the software navigation buttons.

I don't understand the point of this? 4x zoom, but only up to 27mm? So you want a 7mm-27mm zoom lens? Also damn the aperture on such a lens would be horrific - no more than f/5.6 or you'd have a giant bulbous front lens element. Also how would you do 4x zoom? Have one lens at Xmm focal length and another at 4Xmm, and then interpolate between? Would be quite bad at the inbetween zooms. If its a fully optical zoom, then where would you put the zoom lens? Zoom lenses are big, and if you want one with a constant aperture, then it'll be even bigger.

You can't really add spatial resolution by adding two 12Mpx images together (i.e. you can't get a 24Mpx image by adding two 12Mpx images together) - that's not how it works. What Sony look to be doing with their dual cam setup is combining two separate images (probably at different ISO/exposures) and combining the information to produce lower noise, higher detail and sharper images - but the final resolution will still just be 12Mpx (or whatever the native resolution of each camera actually ends up being)
- EIS for photos ( still dont know why it has never been provided)
Why not just have OIS at this point. That can work with both video and stills. And work a whole lot better. Or maybe change the paradigm a bit. Instead of stabilising the lens, how about stabilise the entire camera module. Would be tricky, but I think would allow for greater shake reduction - in theory.

Idk? There's the pro or premium to talk about.. And I have no problems with that ratio.. I mean I have used one or two device with that ratio and it's ok.. Not bad. |

Nowaday, is there Sony another tech that can fix taking picture in low light condition?
except adding OIS or already EIS

25mm is too wide. For example, you see a bird on your roof.
You cant take a pic because the bird will be too small.
Wider lenses a great for landscapes, but awful for small things if they are not close.
Digital zoom is useless.
One american university while ago was working on a 12x optical zoom for phones.
2 sensor of 12MP 1,55 micron are easier to fit than a 24MP with same 1.55micron.
So far all articles says the dual cam will probably work together.
Photos of lower resolution ( 5, 8, 12 and 13) give you impression to be good due to smaller crop.
Then you see them on a big screen and realize they suck.
Why would Sony provide that if it was useless?
When bigger / hi res sensors cost much more...
The OIS used on mobile devices has the jello effect. Also just useful with slow shutter.
To prevent the small natural shaking of the body.
It has issues to deal with moving objects.
The fact EIS works with gyroscope allows it to work faster and more effective for videos.
This high ISO dual cam will probably be used to eliminated the need of slower shutter in low light without sacrificing quality.
All articles about it so far say the duo will merge to create one image, both catching light same time.
@x350 All you need is ISO below 100 and steady hands. If you dont want to switch to manual, just decrease brightness on auto to make ISO goes down. The low light is all due to high ISO. And still tech sites make ppl believe is post processing.

Have you guys seen the Design Evolution video? I thought I saw a different, unreleased phone there and sent a tip to XB but they thought it was probably a design illustration. What do you guys think?
Also this one seems like it has smaller bottom bezel.

Yes, the Dot inside the circles means "Interaction with Agent"
You can see more of this concept design here:

It will be available gradually in Sony devices.

Sony Mobile has been full of secrets lately.
Impossible to guess what this X Dimension means.
Many tech sites thought DVS was camera stabilization.
Name reminds me X Reality.
It could be anything.
Screen tech, new level of AR, audio system stuff ...
