Geez, I wish they would hurry up and release this phone. Ive been through my excitement and anticpation phase, now Im getting fed up. I wish O2 would just announce that they have it rather than tease with their the X10 photo on their smartphone page.
sigh. It better be worth the wait! |

I've made a phonecall to vodafone this evening because I wanted to know when the x10 is available for extending my contract. The person who I spoke with couldn't give me a price, but he told me to call back wednesday, then the x10's should be arrived.
So my guess is that the x10 will be available in Holland next week. |

Just been reading that on the Cnet site. I think we can be assured that newer versions of Android will be in the pipeline.

The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

Lol,good to see this thread is finaly peaceful.
Still not remotely interested in the X10
But i like the Timescape UI, looking forward to seeing how its going to do compared to iPhone, and NexusOne, especialy after the 2.x upgrade.
Any word on whether this will get Flash10.1?

I get the impression that moogoo has the same concerns as me, those being how fast will Timescape be once it has to deal with hundreds of contacts with photo's a point I have made on many occasions in this thread.
I agree the in the demo's we have seen recently Timescape appears to run quite well but with apparently few contacts and little facebook or other social network data loaded.
I want to see a full scale demo with hundreds of contacts, photos, music and loads of social network data loaded and I want to know exactly how much this thing is going to cost to buy and run.
I have owned the ... T68i T610, P800, P900, P910, P990, W950, P1, W960 But SE have now totally lost the plot. |

surely by now it's obvious timescape is quite a data intensive app, updating via the net etc etc... so for it to take a second to load everything is not a huge deal, even if it is running a snapdragon! my laptop, even with a new core i7, doesnt load big files instantly, and the internet these days still needs a second or 2 to load things hey...
id guess once live updates are turned off it would be quicker??

True, with the data intensive applications such as the internet part of Mediascape it will only be as fast as the networks can load the data - e.g the network will be the bottleneck.

Surely this depends on where you buy your own phone and what contract / tariff you choose and how much you pay. No one can answer that question but yourself.
