firoz ---> smile!!! but the pic isnt sharp and also the lighting / white balance isnt good..... cause is low shutter speed.... if you wanted to test low shutter speeds, its okay. but if you wanted a picture of the smilie, you could have tried with flash.... also, it looks like your hand shaked a little during the two seconds.... firoz! you clicked buffalos!!! i coudnt stop laughing when i saw those!!!! good pics, but you can do better. one of the things is that the sunlight is very bright in india subtropics as compared to upper north countries.... so okay! dont worry, you can still try your hand by adjusting, contrast, brightness, iso, ev etc... just experiment... most times we click auto.. thats also okay
mechexpert tool pics in dark. if you too take pics in dark, they'll look much better than your daylight pics.... and for starters, try pics in shade..... flowers , leaves that stuff. i am going outside tomorrow, in daylight, so i'm gonna click pics too....
Your comments are really encouraging. Thank you.
And that day i tried with flash too. but that didn't look good.
What might be wrong ?

there is not real art without a little postprocessing
true, postprocessing is nice and useful thing. post here any pictures - edited or not, this thread is not about driver only. at least you can describe them as 'edited', I don't see any problem here
coolharsh55
when you use EV keys (joystick left/right) only to adjust other functions like focus, saturation, etc. EV doesn't change at all. when you use exposure compensation function (position +0.3) then you can change EV which in K800 controls exposure time and ISO (when exposure time is not enough)

cyber-shooter ---> pictures coming up in a moment!!!! stop calling my phone a darling all the time! your's might get jealous!
fulger ---> yummy sky, gorgeous night!!!!!
firoz ---> i dont see anything wrong in your pictures..... might be wrong something with your notions about pictures... see firoz, you cant click a picture of anything and everything and expect all of them to be great shots... you have to capture really good details in a picture. like in your smilie picture, technically, it is a good pic, but the subject, your smilie is not good. see, the lines on it are not full, they are patched here and there, that ruins the picture up to a certain limit... also, you have to think really creative if you want pictures such as even this to turn out to be good, like taking the picture from a little far away, and keeping the focus on the smilies 'nose'. also, you could experiment with additional lighting.... i use maglite lotsa times.... my entry in last months contest was with a maglite.... and even the perfume picture i'm gonna upload was with the help of maglite...... your learning, so its okay if we dont get good pictures, you keep the technical stuff up to the mark, the picture will keep getting better and better.....
raider ---> thanks for being so helpfull. okay! i confused EV with exposure compensation function. EV is exposure variation. okay.... i got the idea of shutter speed + ISO, but still asked anyway. its better to be a smart ass if you are going to be an ass at all!!!
and hey! i thought this forum was about your driver!!!!!!!!! so post-processed pictures allowed? help me on that one....
if you just change the brightness in the post-processing, it will still not help in driver thread forums.... there are other threads like post ur night pic, or post pics taken with k790/k800
also, we can have pics in a seperated thread for post-processed pics
cause you see, we all place our pictures here, and someone coms up with really good pictures... and we ask them hey! can we do that with RAIDER 6.6.3? how? which function? what you used? and they end up answering , that it was all post-processed!!!! SAD. kinda lame......
so keep this thread just for pics with ur driver!
a request!!!!
everyone else!
plz do say something about this....
if everyone else feels, we ought to have post-processed pictures in this thread, thats fine by me then. i'll have to be shut.
but i gave my argument, that this thread helps people using Raider6.6.3 take better pictures because we share the various combinations used while taking pictures, and we know what are the exciting things we can do with the extended functions this driver allows us to use.......
thats all by me!

this was the door to my room a few years ago, sadly now its all broken cause we are demolishing the building to build a new one!
mom's perfume bottle..... new name to me
the peacock! my cousin bro's wife makes these glass artifacts!!!
a little creativity i got when i was practising the alphabet 'A' today...
now a little demonstration of funtion +0.3 exposure variations.....
original picture --->
as you see, the sun has played his dirty trick here.... he has disturbed the picture with his bright light, which has resulted in massive loss of details...
fear not! Raider here to rescue! just switch on the cam, use function +0.3 exposure compensation helps you! here is the new pic... --->
as we all can see, there is more detail in the picture.... so get ur cam's shutters sliding the next time you are in light! and let the pictures be clicked!!!!!
THANKS RAIDER

All the Best. Do well in the exams !
mechexpert is not experimenting but is getting good stuff.

So its not only the camera or the drivers, but also the photographer must be good. (like its said in the

mechexpert ---> nice pics! but just the last one! the rest were nice as per experimenting....
no, i dont think we can increase shutter speed greater than 2sec!
hardware problem.........
mauquit ---> thesre is a simple rule for brightness.... if picture is too bright, reduce brightness, if it is less birght, increase it!!!

mauquit ---> see, the picture should not look too white or too dark... thats the simple rule. adjust it till the picture becomes what you want it to become...
mechexpert ---> the one with the full drawing of a horse
