The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

Ok, they had no WLAN on their stand on the CeBIT and no activated SIM-card, so testing TrackID didn't work. But it is contained and works completely like on the latest A2 (not android) platforms.
The quality of the phone is very high, the screen is scratch resistant and it's very slim.
The firmware was not the latest, but Timescape felt very fast. It is loading the pictures only of the visible "cards". After scrolling it loads the uncached pictures. If all pictures are preloaded the responsibility is still the same. Also switching between he "tabs" was fast.
The SE guy told me that the shipping to the shops begins next week. An upgrade to Andorid 2.x will be available, but he couldn't tell me the exact date, but it is planned till end of Q2. He wasn't also sure if it will be 2.0 or 2.1 but supposes to be 2.1.
He also let me know, that with 2.0 the responsibility will be little bit higher than in 1.6, and so the battery live. I was surprised that he was very competent.
I also tend to buy the black x10. |

So...does it have stereo external speakers? No one seems to be able to answer this simple question. |

Thanks for the info.
Why are you tempted for the black one?
Didn't you like the white one

I played the whole time with the white one, while speaking with the SE guy and then when I decided to go I remembered that I wanted to check out the black one So the white one is very nice too. I thought it would be something exclusive but then I realized that the black one is exclusive too, not like other black phones. I think it comes from the large screen, the silver curved sides and the whole (very ergonomic) design. So if you hold it in your hand it is something very special.
My decision for the black one is simply that the white one is maybe a little bit more lady-ish And I do not need to highlight me before some iPhone user by showing it is also a white one I liked the "rubberized" back of the black one, too
So it definitely will become my next phone
PS: I meant the shipping to shops in Germany, that will begin next week - that what's the guy told me, and the price comparison sites in Germany confirm that, most of them say "March" or "18th March". Few others say April. |

thanks for all the info untitled. sounds great. the white one is still for me! I guess i don't mind being more "lady-ish" ha! maybe i'll think of it as moreso having a lady in my hands?
look forward to finding out if the 2.1 update rumor is truth. If so, with the added speed increase and battery life, it will be a beast!

The phone is definitely a keeper for me. Hardware wise it's right up there. Software wise it looks like updates are forthcoming to keep it current. Ergonomics and design look top notch. Apps will keep it interesting.

It is not hard to make There was a flat screen above the pyramid, showing 3 pictures for the 3 dimensions. The pyramid areas are in a 45° position and project the pictures from the screen above to the middle of the pyramid. |

Slightly OT here folks but, looks like the Software updates might bring good rewards, if the new from GSM Arena about the Satio shown below is anything to go by..
