I tried to put the line CMD(58,xx) in seq -init for vivid, as your instruction, but there is no change.
Please instruct me how to add vivid feature in more detail.
Thanks!
try:
seq_init= #SET(0B,D0)
#SET(0C,07)
#SET(18,00)
#CMD(56,05)
#CMD(55,01)
#CMD(58,06)
#G_S_V;
(works only in 21.9 !) |

As you can see, most of all i use auto modes (except picts with the rose).
I can provide some hints, but not the manual...
1. If you want to take a picture of something that lays beyond 4-5 meters "line" (landscape for example) it's better to set manual focus into infinity (zoom 1.1)
2. Try different WB presets. Often their name is not directly connected with the environment. For example, for shooting with LED in the room with tungsten light it's better to set Fluorescent WB and so on.
3. If you need to properly exposure something relatively small (to the whole picture). For example face on the portrait or the sun in the clouds. You need to switch from centerweighted photometry to the spot photometry.
4. If you whant to reduce "noice" on the picture, you need to turn on supermode and set the ISO to 100, then you may need to adjust the shutter speed.
5. If you totally don't like the WB work (wrong colors) in some place, select Auto WB, then turn on One Push WB via the effects menu, point your camera to something white (or grey) and wait a bit until the color on the screen became really white (or grey), then make the WB lock. Now you can make a picts with true colors in this place. Don't forget to unlock the WB and return to normal WB via Effects menu after all =)
6. If you want to take a series of a picts with the same exposure (for panorama for example), just turn on the AE lock. |

Best one for me is Mladen`s 6.36. Easy to use, great for low light condition, exposure & ISO controling by FOCUS.

yo SPU, why does your 1.2 driver have macro on as default (macro focus)?
when i turn on macro and focus, the lens stick at half way, and give me a blurred view/picture..
also AE lock and WB lock don't work for me @ w800i r1bc002... :/
BUT!! the BEST thing about your driver is that i can VR, and manual focus+zoom+set brightness+contrast+etc. in REAL TIME thx to the EV switch menu i've always wanted that |

There is no WB/AE lock and modes on Effects menu in 1.2, 1.2 release even has another supermode table.
Everything i wrote before is about 1.3 beta 1 only. |
