burgaz i had a few probs connecting mine last night. i had to uninstall my p800 sw and the k700 sw then reinstall the k700 sw again on its own. also had to mess around with norton firewall 'again' as i had to do with the p800.
sorted it eventually and the k700 sits nicely in my p800 docking cradle  have to say transfer time on large mp3's isnt great - maybe need to look into that a bit more.
using mp3's as ringtones is sweet dropping some nice trance tracks in as ringtones

yeah a buddy of mine bought the 40gb ipod and it broke in 2 weeks 
so he got it replaced, and THAT one broke in a few more weeks 
so i say ipods can go to hell

Yeah i can do mp3 tones... I've got a couple i've done my self... My fav at the mo is the Terrance and Philip fart sequence for southpark the movie.

at home i deffo don't wear headphones, just got the stereo blasting
on the road my car radio does the job just fine.... and for the incidental trip not taken by car (this would be a flight) I bring my minidisk, or I sleep, or watch the movie.
As a precaution i refuse to carry music gear on my bicycle, as amsterdam traffic is dangerous enough without the added handicap of not hearing what is going on around you
