it is...except for the auto pictures, its one of the best phones i had. just look at some of my original pictures...they have stunning quality.

by the way, THE CAMERA ISO SETTINGS IS ALSO VERY RELEVANT TO WEAK PIC-QUALITY. (i tried to change manuell iso on k850 many times...never became better. auto iso worked alllways best)

Not overly modest about your photos, eh?

manual ISO option is like light metering mode option - it's useless if you don't know how to use it and what for they are. otherwise both comes in handy if necessary. don't expect much from camphone users, most of them have no idea of what ISO is, etc.

Same league price wise ? Not sure how the prices looks elsewhere, but here in Sweden where Innova8 will be available in November it is said Innova8 will cost around €768 (£600, $1062) whereas C905 can be found for €474 (£370, $655), which is definitely not in same price range.

I quoted Eldar on that. The difference in price can be explained by the i8510 being an S60 phone and the more feature-rich camera, including the better video recording (VGA@30fps, QVGA@120fps).

No way are these in the same price range.

The C905 is pitched a lot lower down. It might by their flagship imaging device but in no way is it up there with the Innov8.

Think K800i when that was launched. That will give you some idea of its market. After a few weeks, the price will come down quite a bit.

8gb i8510i can be had for around 400 quid, agree with Gface that the C905 will kick off being a bit pricy as a sim-free purchase, but UK buyers will see it on PAYG at around £299 within about 8 weeks of it's introduction. then this time next year, you'll see it in woolies for even a fraction of that .
I hope no-one pays silly money for this early on and get's their fingers burned.

Yes, I know you quoted Eldar and what Innova8 has to offer. I was just reflecting over his statement they were in same price range when that is not true, at least not sim-free.

The high price is there to attract rich idiots and early adopters.

what are you talking about? manual ISO not good? Try to take a picture in very very low light with iso 100... then try again with ISO 800 and maybe even 1600. OFC it will be very noisy, but at least you can show someone a picture of an object or whatever you saw in the low light. With raider's mod i was able to shoot a picture of a whole back yard in total darkness, and i could show it to my GF so she could have an idea of how cool was the party. Couldn't do that with ISO 100, right? So you see manual ISO is handy. Not to mention when you use Xenon, and it only lights up 2-3-max 4m and the rest is black. push iso to 400 or 800 and range is extended. Hope you understand me. I believe SE will put back manual iso into next C phone.
So when will this C905 be available for everyone? 1 month from now?
