Does the metadata really that important? i was once feel annoyed by the data result from EXIF reader.. BUT when you can capture a beautifull picture, you're speechless.. you'll never care about the metadata anymore.. K750 won't take picture itself, you the one who operate it.. It's the person behind the K750 that's matter.. hope you get my message

Agree in principle, but it's still handy having correct metadata when you are analysing your pics..
@gxg, you can't run the K800 driver on a K750 (I tried  , got nothing), but you can use the K800 driver to better understand the K750 driver. AKSD (please correct me if I'm wrong) developed 2.441 from looking at the K800 driver, so you could possibly call 2.441 a K800 hybrid (though not technically an actual hybrid)

You cant "actually" call it a hybrid 'cause that would be misleading. But the K800i offers more of an explanation to Sharpness and contrast settings than the K750 driver does. All will be revealed in the guide I am preparing.

I realise it's not actually a hybrid as such. But by the loose standards many have used before it's a hybrid.
I just wanted to point out that K800 development works has already been done on 2.441.

Of course every cam driver even Erzans and ady's would have improved upon the exposure setting adjustment which I pointed out some pages back which we were searching for but could'nt find but which the K800i driver pointed out quite clearly. You might say that EVERY driver from the K800i posting onwards has benefitted from the K800i driver.
You cannot actually create a Hybrid driver since the kernel of both phones have different settings as such.....all the driver does is provide an interface between a few settings the use and the kernel. |

I wasn't saying that the other's weren't, just that you were the only person I'd seen who actually claimed to use that info. I'm not saying the others didn't, but yours was the only example I knew of where I was certain K800 info had been used, so that's why I referred to your 2.441.
Sorry you other guys, I wasn't trying to say one was better than the other, I was just trying to point out to gxg that The K800 driver had already been investigated and I gave 2.441 as ONE example only.
I KNOW IT'S NOT A HYBRID!!  I'm not trying to tell anyone it is a hybrid. Wrong wrong choice of word. All I'm getting at is the K800 has been used already.
But that said, I have to say, the 2.441 (haven't tested 90.2 much yet) is the best driver by far, even compared to e_erzans. That's just my opinion, I fully expect that not everyone agrees with me, but nevertheless that is my personal assessment. I mean no offence, it's just what I think.
So yes, I do see you aksd as being the most experienced camdriver developer on this thread, that's another reason why I mentioned your 2.441.

HYBRID is a colloquial word used in this forum, especially knowing that this driver is special and came from a different type of such rarity...
or maybe we can call it as a driver from K800 technology... hehehe. mushy!

Yep, and if you remember back at the start of this thread, there are W810 AND W900 driver contributions to the knowledge base as well, so the drivers are really a mix of info from W800/W810/W900/K800!
My personal favourite driver, though useless for photos, is the mirrored viewfinder - a classic trick to play on peeps!
Actually when aksd's guide comes out I hope he puts how to mirror the viewfinder (hint hint)
