Hey Tapas, did you upgrade the new firmware. I just did it.
The new upgrade brings a new UI look. The screen looks much vibrant. They have switched to a darker theme now. The background of the Soft key is now black instead of grey. My first impression of the XZ wallpaper is WOW!!! The colors look great!!!! The colors look great now. I think now we should again do the screen comparisions with HTC and S4. Now XZ will take the crown.
They have changed the icons for the small apps too. I an trying to find the changelog to check out all the features. Will post soon. I hope they have changed something for the battery life too.

Have the viewing angles 'improved'? |

The viewing angles are pretty good. All in all, the update makes you feel you've got a new phone. No complaints as of now

I agree with Karun. The viewing angles look good. No Complaints with the screen.
They have changed the Keyboard layout. They have included a screen calibration tool to change the White Balance and Hue. Overall the update is spot-on.

What fw is your GS4 on? I'm on XXUAMDE and battery life has been simply outstanding, only heat up I get is when playing HD games or taking long HD1080P videos.
The affected regions seem to have recieved a XXUAMDE1 Kies and OTA update to fix the issues, so just try updating your phone through one of them.
Same as yours, XXUAMDE but still can't find any update ( UAE firmware for us here in Bahrain ), As I'm rooted I can't see OTA.. still figuring out how to enable it again...
I'll try to make a nandroid backup and install stock and check if there's an update or not yet... I'll get back in the S4 thread so we don't OT this one

Yeah overall I'm very happy and screen is also good... I have set the white balance saturation 3.3 and hue to 165 and it seems perfect to me

I can still trust a terrorist but never the cops.
It's alright, that phone wasn't meant to be with me. This time, I'll cover the phone with insurance as it hardly takes Rs.1-2k.

Does the new update brings good display? as in people were talking about greyish UI and all?
What about flipping homescreen fluidness? because I remember that's the only place where there was slight lag.
