15kBps is great. By the way, I'm not able to bridge 2 connections using winGate. Have u tried bridging with MO and Free GPRS connections? |

Is that possible? How would the browser know when to use the proxy settings for free gprs? I hope you understand what I meant.

Before there were rumors bout airtel introducing 3G on the start of 2007.But nowadays no news bout it.........Wat happened did they leave up the idea.....I think first they have to stabilize ther edge network and then think bout 3G and all.........................................
2 weeks before there was a news in the paper that airtel is introducing google search thru ther live portal...But i dont see any option for google search and all ..Wat happened??? |

U cant bridge MO + free gprs coz they both have different proxy settings and wingate allows us to set only one proxy for a bridged connection. But u can create 2 separate WWW proxy services each for MO and free gprs. This way u can download 2 files using different WWW proxy service. or use one for dloading and the other for ur browser. Only drawback is that u cant use both connections to dload the same file.
But, u can bridge NOP + free gprs since they both have same proxy settings.
Tell me what prob u face while configuring wingate. Make sure u set DNS resolver to use 202.56.250.5 coz only this dns works in south zone. |

@Alan, DKU-5 CABLE cost 150 in calcutta here. I brought 3 month ago for my friends 6100. |

hey has the free gprs started workin yester night i was able to open any site at one go through LIVE i didnt tried any trick and all sites were opening and the same is happening now in the morning wat has happened tell me PLZ DISCUSS ABT GPRS ALSO MY DEAR FRIENDS |

Dude, nothing left to discuss abt free GPRS at the moment. We've to watch silently what Airtel is doing. After they take a final step, we should start to discuss.
If we start to discuss about their every small step now itself, then we are helping them to block us by giving them some ideas about our discoveries/tricks. |

Yes dude. Now DKU-5 cables are becoming cheaper(but not as cheap as in Kolkata). By the way, I think 6100 is slower than 6600 in GPRS speed.

I am also now able to open all sites using live .... Its working like mobile office in phone ... Able to use opera and all other applications also with the connection .... Wat happened ? |

me thinks that airtel will try to launch 3g sooner since bsnl is already investing a lot on wifi. If bsnl goes ahead with it's plan of 2 mbps for Rs. 250, then the price of mobile office should come down or they should make it free, what do you guys think? Another thought, if airtel does launch 3g, airtel might charge gprs per kb like in the uk in order to promote usage of 3g

i have a good n a bad news for u all ? specially at senior members n dat is aftr working on lame ass user-agnt technology now gt*l is working on "MSID"
means they r looking for msid (special identification of every mb no.) in ur request and if u r apaid subscriber i.e. NOP , MO THEN ONLY U CAN PASS THROUGH SERVERS. but the gd nws is that is this could b a blasting thing for us which'll i discuss l8r..(some guys knows what i meant)
But still dont know that whats going inside in this fu**ktell.. coz 4m tomarrow nite gtl li*e is working like nop. but one thing that if u r trying to tunnel ur way however now u can browse net without it. but if u do tunneling u cant open any site except li*e. (hav a try to it).. but if u simply type any url u can open it... and 1 more thing that esato ssl all things are working again but "LOG iN TO THEM IS A SCARY THING"(dont know what they had done 4 this) and if u log in u cant reply to ur mails  bdw i said this all abt fr** GP*S..

Guys from last night onwards i am able to use free gprs without any trick like 2 apn or real one. I am able to browse any site without any probs and in jus 1 try. Whats happening? Is this gonna work for only somedays? |
