sadness! about the camera button. during my adventures with the various insides of the phone, i found out that the camera button is sometimes stuck such that there wont be any half-release, and you have to take pictures without the pre-focus.
so, you can do this, open ur phone, remove the cam button, place it again, but make sure that it remains in place. while re-fitting the case, it tends to move away, thereby creating the same problem again.
see if this helps.

This is not a so plain problem unfortunately. I exchanged the whole button panel for new one already. The mistake remained. I tested it in a state without case. The Key foil and the contact of the BtB connector are reasons. This is a PBA mistake according to my opinion. Interesting, that perceives the state of the camera button pressed totally yet (but i get nowhere with it).
Crappy thing, although the camera shot many thousand pictures already.
Thank you for trying to help. And excuse me from everybody for the not fitting post.

auto shutter speed in most situations! for me manual shutter speed is most important function but of course necessary only in exceptional situations. rule is very simple:
much light = fast shutter speed (camera can shoot very quickly)
low light = slow shutter speed (camera need more time to catch more light)
if with manual shutter speed your picture is black (underexposure) then shutter speed is too fast to catch enough light, otherwise if it's white (overexposure) then shutter speed is too slow and the light overflows the camera. imagine 25W lightbulb in front (10-20cm) of the camera, light amount is ultra high and shutter speed must be very fast to avoid overexposure. why to use manual shutter speed? first you have to understand balance between light amount and shutter speed, then you'll be able to recognize situations when manual shutter speed can be helpful. as I wrote earlier, in exceptional situations there's nothing better than total control over shutter speed

auto ISO in most situations! manual ISO in cameraphone is not that elastic like in digital camera, major advantage is that you can have total control over sensitivity when you need to move to manual settings. I'm using manual ISO mostly in two situations:
- ISO 100 when shooting
- ISO 100/125/160/200 together with 2sec exposure time in very dark scenery, just to catch more light

suppose you still don't know how to implement 'ELVES' into ur phone...
so, even if you have 1,00,000 posts, you are a newbie when it comes to ELVES>>>>
Well he is right I am a newbie to that. Thanks coolharsh55. Got connected, but have CID53 and phone does not support FSX

raider---> HAPI B'DAY/ thanks for the short tutorial and info on funtions... the key to getting good light is not to have a shaky hand is that it???
i have quite some shaky hands... pics with slow shutter speed arent so good thats why...
the links you gave for tutorials were very good. although i knew these topics, brushing off the dust on them helps. thanks.
as for a secretary... i dont think ur girlfriend will be too happy about you having one!
vudu ---> there is a camera elf, that allows you to assign buttons to different functions, you can assign 2 or 5 key to autofocus, and then click with the original camera button.
the glitch here is that you have to keep the 2 or 5 key pressed when you press the camera button to take the picture. so you have to use two buttons to click a picture.... but since you dont have a autofocus button, maybe this will help. try searching se-nse or topse-ru for this elf. or you can always ask!!!
residentevil ---> CID53 has now support from new version of FAR. plz check the concerned forum on se-nse or search google for CID53 FAR. hope it solves!

cyber-shooter ---> i like your flames pics... you are using raider's driver... the fire looks really good there.... maybe you get to be the winner this month, and choose fire as the theme next month... hows that???
