Some phones will scan, however without BT turned on, they do not find anything.

Well, at least my Z600 turns on the BT automatically and scans then the area. After that the BT is turned off. Again, when sending the BC it turns on BT automatically and sends the BC and then again BT is turned off. I think this feature is very brilliant. Don't know about other models, though. |

Was just reading this thread and I didn't seem to find the way I do this. It's the fastest I can think of.
1. Add some contacts you would like to send (this is done beforehand)
2. Get your ass to a great place for BJing
3. Phonebook -> Select one of your predone messages -> Send contact -> Via bluetooth
The phone then scans the area for devices and then you can just select the device you want to send the message to. This way you don't have to turn on the bluetooth & discover a device and then find / add a contact. This takes time and the mark might get out of the connection area. This also comes with a problem of the message but there are always-funny-messages-sent-to-any-phone like "U got h4x0r3d" or something like that. I prefer "BUY SONY ERICSSON" and I just send it to Nokia phones

Cool, tip! Tried and it worked for me, save time going through the old method and i can get victims without them even knowing it, if they try to find out who it was by checking for tooth devices that are switched on!

Are you telling me that before searching to send a contanct, you'd first search to pair your phone ?

Sat in the reception area of the bank today and could not resist to set my sman message to 'Cashier No. 4 Please'. Oh how the 10 minutes I waited for my appointment flew, as at the most 3 people went to the poor girl at desk number 4
Enough to bring a tear to the eye of @ajack himself?

can anybody teach me how to use the bluejack in sman?
tried scanning and i could detect the phones that has the bt turned on but i could'nt send the message "SE rules!" , the owner of the phones have to accept the bt sending in order to recieve the message. Is there a way that i could send it without the user granting the request? |

No you dont need to pair your tooth with the another mobile tooth sent a contact to it!
I found out i can do it either when i have my tooth physically turned on (or off) and when i want to send a contact to another mobile.
I do this by going to my phone book, selecting the contact i want to send ie my "confusion virus", select send contact via tooth. The tooth searchs to find any devices (or automatically switches itself on if its orginally not) that are switched on and then i can send it. (it switches back to off if it wasnt physically switched on the first place.)
Hope that makes it more clear to you?
