Guys,

Yesterday, I bought a Nokia 6020. Now I don't know how to connect it with the computer via datacable(I didn't got a datacable with the package). I already have CA-42 which I got with N70. But when I try to connect 6020 via it, XP says "USB Device not recognized".

So which cable I should use?

Thanks

@ blu i think both DKU 5 and CA 42 cables are supported by nokia 6020...Original cable from nokia with 6 months warranty costs around 1800. But u can get good quality duplicate cables at around 350.

@alan...Why r taking a 6020 when ur having a N70..6020 has only class 6 edfe rite???

@rahul i got me a fake CA-42 for Rs. 300 and now ruing my purchase, i lost my driver cd, so now i'm stuck with an unusable cable. I tried a lot of drivers, but the only thing I can do now is transfer files .

@rahul
I'm completely fed up by changing sims 5-6 times per day. So to save my N70 from becoming unusable, I purchased a 6020 as a dedicated mobile for GPRS(U know, I'm using MO via sim from Kerala). Here in this region, for atleast next 5 years, no EDGE. So why should I think about EDGE now itself???

@blu
Mine is not original, but working good. I think CA-42 is not supported in my case. Because whenever I connect it to Phone, nothing happens(I suppose to get "Data Enhancement connected") and in PC, its coming "USB Device not recognized". So no way without DKU-5.

@alan u should have got the 6021, it's got bluetooth. Or better would be an ir dongle which would be cheaper than the dku-5. When I connect the ca-42 to my phone, i get the msg enhancement not supported.

@Alan
This is what i do since there is no EDGE at my place. Bought 2 second hand class 10 gprs mobiles for cheap price. And bridged em all 3 via wingate. Now I get a steady 15 KBps. Not a bad option though for non EDGE areas
