Guess I'll wait for a couple of weeks, check out prices & then decide. Between conflicting views on k700, I'll probably go for Pxxx series.

Madhav - my k700 have very less bugs....infact NO bugs except that 1 second delay but it will be solved by the latest firmware....
You have FM radio and also mp3/mp4 playback while ur on the move....also it has got the best VGA cam imo...I really like this phone...although it is not a smartphone but I dont need a smartphone anyway (not atleast now). If in the future i want one...i will go for a Pxxx series or any of the series60 nokia phones, but for now k700 is just perfect for me....

I have convinced two of my Nokia FAN friends for SE k700i and one of them already got one yesterday....so u see people are actually appreciating the quality of k700i...and its not a matter of popularity or sales figures...but its a matter of personal intrest....if u want to have one.........just get it..... Arun has got much problems in his phone but his case is like 1 in 1000's.

Vin, is correct. I dont have many problems with my K500i. The delay doesnt bother much. The k700i dateimanager has an option that will beep to tell you that you can start talking. (And the time is less than a second. Not more like many claim.)

G'Morning Guy's!

@mrao : hey dude, dont go for p800. I sold mine 3 weeks after getting it and I purchased it Brand New!! Lost Rs.2000 on the price difference . Basically its camera is definitely better, ok...Much better then k700 camera, in Night Mode, its much clearer and day time...obviously. I'm not a business user (I dont think you are either) so the applications available for it wont impress you. And its SLOW (spell S-L-O-W) !! 4k screen, some of the images are baaaad. Opera browser gives memory errors on every 2nd site . If you can go for any thing else, its better. P800 was my last after it i lost faith in .

Well....so many views. I suppose I should just go ahead and get the new k700i.
That's what I had set my mind on in the first place anyways, till all these oter options came up.
I guess I'll just follow my instinct & get it.
Anyway, I read more good than not so good reviews about the k700. Moreover, there are bad reviews for just about every phone out there & if I go solely by that, I'd never be able to make up my mind.

Thanks anyways for all the advice.

@mrao : go for the k700, if for no other reason, but its brand new. I don't know anyone who has purchased a second hand phone and not suffered with it. Including the guy's who purchased old phones from me

@gov: Dude, sorry about that, The p800 was a good business phone in its time, but unlike the kxxx's and txxx's , or even p9xx's it had an incomplete phone side. And the pda side if the p series is obviously not as good as the palm's or Windows Mobile's. But it was a good combination of both at its time, and i was impessed with the concept and effort if not the final product.
