Guys: Glo GPRS has been down at my end for about 2 days now. I consider that a bad timing.

All I need now is for MTn to set some tantalizing tariff on its GPRS access, and I may as well do what I have threatened to do in the past - cross-carpet.

Aya when is Glo's MMS going to end? Its like today, or is it in another one month's time? i guess they are either preparing to switch off the free mms or extend the period, hmmm, thats why i love competiton.

@angel: Whatever it is Glo is trying to do, they better do it fast. Now I have an alternative to their GPRS service....

@mamba: 3G ko; abeg! How much money have they made off GPRS that 3G is the next thing now?

Besides MTN is also configuring 3G (at least so they say), and their own GPRS is working now.

Howdy all,
This tantalizing talk of 3G is getting me excited. Nitel is also planning to go 3G. So where is Vmobile in all this forward thinking? Do they think thier Vactive and Voffice are enough to fight off the competition? I wonder if anyone uses these services.
Like Aya said, if MTN comes out with better gprs tariffs, I just might jettison my Vmobile or Glo line in favour of MTN.
I dreamt that MTN announced a gprs tariff of 50k per kb of data down load for MTN WAP, and 50k per kb of data upload for MTN GPRS.........
Yeah, just a dream.

@amby: You can be sure that if MTN declares such a tariff structure tonight, Jesus will come back tomorrow morning.... so it would be of no benefit to any of us...
