@*,

The latest firmware version for the T68i is still R2E. This information came from Gilbert himself.

You should have seen how GM handled a lady customer who was literally shouting at Rommel at the Service counter this afternoon... One look of GM at the lady and she was pacified right away... The ferocious tiger turned into a whimpering kitten when GM personally attended to her.

@gm, gudevening! I have a question regarding my t39 ultra-slim li-polymer battery, is it normal for the back-side of the battery to suddenly have some lumps on the surface. Or should i say \"nag-warp\" yung back surface ng battery. I don't know kung gradual ang pag-warp kaya lang ngyon lng naging obvious ang bukol. Does this affect battery perfomance? I am worried, and at the same time, upset by this. Thank you and more power!

it is NOT normal. and could be dangerous for you, i suggest that you stop using your battery immeidately or risk being injured from an exploding batt (this is possible you know).

i wonder why you posted the question here. where did you buy your T39?

@dun333 re possible danger
well, we dont know what caused the warping in the first place. a chemical reaction maybe? and i usually think of chemicals reactions as anything but safe. (blame high school chem class )

i suggest you post at semicon and inquire from them. better yet, call their office or store where you it from. or let's hear from GM about this

try to check the terms of the warranty... maybe there's a saving clause there to include the battery in the one year period, or something to that effect, since thAt batt was part of the original package. I did that with first Asia with my siemens. No harm trying anyway...
hmmm.lumobo ang batt? di ba nabilad yan o maling charger?

good luck

@bonito99, pare nasa "LIMITED WARRANTY" sa manual naka-lagay: Any Ericsson accessory is covered by a warranty period of one (1) year from the date of its original purchase by a consumer in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions stipulated herein. So I guess covered pa ito dapat ng warranty. Maingat naman ako sa cell ko pare, kaya i can say that i did'nt do anything extra-ordinary to cause the "lump". Pwede b ako mag-post ng pic ng battery ko dito just to show my batt? Paano ba gawin yon?
