yeah that's how seus works. damn i don't have a syncstation and i have to wait till 2morrow to get it. does anyone know what version is the firmware in seus? |

it worked!
after 4 tries getting the error message that the phone could not be connected and that i had to remove the battery and reinstall it again, it actually upgraded the phone. after my fourth try it showed the error message again, so i thought i still had the R3B software, then when i checked my contacts...the bug was gone...i can search for contacts by typing the name i wanted to so i checked my firmware and there it was: R3K. ive noticed that the menu is alot faster and that browsing of thumbnail pics was smoother, however some thumbnails wouldn't still show up. what are the noted changes anyways?

thank god se finally decided to provide s700 users with the update service, since we can't find any sfa files to upgrade the s700 for free using unlocking software. can't wait for my dss-25 to arrive! |

Could still be in beta...The upgrade link in the support page is still not working and i only was able to find the address by comparing it to the k700i update link.At least it gave the clue that the SE guys are working on the S700i firmware update page at last. |

Thanks for the info!! Your friend is not the only one going psycho, i thought the fault was with my computer, but thats not the case than..

i do think its got something to do with the pc. Maybe something stopping the popup window that lets u continue and starts seus. For me it works...

Yes probably is, maybe it has someting to do with the java applet, it says applet someting just before it stops..?

Just updated my S700. It worksed perfectly for me. Although it got towards the end and said that there was an error communicating with the phone and that i should take the battery out, put it back and try again. It had actually updated the phone alright so it didnt need doing again. Weird.
The menues are definately faster and the number search is better but I still cant turn off the shutter sound and they are still annoying!
