The firmware of s700 is just 2 weeks old so no one can say whether it will be uiq 3 or k700/z1010-like.

As it says in the SE dev site: "With Java MIDP 2.0 support and a Java 3D game engine with cutting edge graphics..."
So, no mention about Symbian C++ dev support. It's more than likely to be NON-Symbian UIQ device.

umm i know the pics of the screen are "fake" but lets say you are a mobile developer, you are planing a device with high tech fetaures but you are not sure which operating system will you use because you have a stable one and a very rich one that is still in development, surely you are not going to show the public pics of the stable one if you are not sure yet right?
they could have still left the screen blank......
@orange, yeah i knew you wrote that but i found out just after i wrote mine guess i need a new pair of glasses |

still, those images are showing the "radio" item of the k700 when the s700 doesn't have radio! but they do look real (and awesome), maybe that icon is used for mp3 :?

it looks like a 'music' icon rather then specifially radio. Could be anything audio-related

no the mp3 is below the radio.....
i guess they didn't had time to change a whole menu so they just left it.... or maybe they will include radio in the final release |

http://www.infosyncworld.com is also showing a lot of competition for our S700. Samsung is apparently out with a D710 that has series 60 interface. reminiscent of nokia's 7650 but looks like a great improvement over it.
would anyone who's over at CeBIT care to say how our S700 stacks up against the competition?

The picture below prooves that the Siemens S65 also has a 1.3 Megapixelcamera. I know it is Siemens but it looks awsome, even bethere lookin' then the K700.
Its a bit T610-looking.
The new Nokia 7610 even has a 3.7 Megapixel Camera, so we are not alone. And i must say, the Nokia is a bit weird but not ugly.
