for what its worth, mas abled ang pinoy engineers and laborers to produce quality work that can compete on the global markets just look how happy intel is with their plants. kaso nga lang nag karoon ng global crisis with the semicon industry... but it's picking the pace now....

The usual Asian regional head office of multinational firms is usually Singapore. Maybe that's why they chose Malaysia, more stable politically, plus it's a stones throw away from Sing. |

Ang pinoy talagang mahuhusay, yun nga lng pati sa kalokohan ginagamit, agree, for example na lng, making a call for ur CP for less than 5 secs is considered a drop call so theres no charge, dami ko kakilala use that teknik instead of this 1 peso sms :-)

@pogie, i use a pda for mobility. though i have a toshiba notebook, mabigat sya. i also use specific applications like Expensable to manage my re-imbursements when travelling, TimeTTracker to log the time when i'm doing a project. when i'm in a meeting, i don't need to bring my notebook, i use the note taking features. and i can't do without AvantGo |

cguro nga pda is not for me. i still do those things the old fashion way, all in the head .... which is very prone to forgetting.... i tried taking notes using a pda kaso mas mabilis akong magsulat kesa mag squiggle ng coresponding letter to the pda. at mahilig akong mag doodle kaya i have my doodle book and journal.
unless you know a program that will understands/parse/decode cursive handwriting....
do you?:? |

@pogie on PDAs
first of all, a PDA is not a replacement for a notebook. so it is not fair to compare it with carrying a notebook, or using it in lieu of a PC.
but there are a lot of things a PDA can do well, which can also be done on a notebook/PC. i always bring my PDA with me 'coz
a) i dont have a laptop (sa office 'yon e )
b) i'm not good with remembering stuff - so i got my contacts, notes, calendar, etc on my pda instead (which is a palm m505, btw)
c) after "discovering GPRS, i now surf and send/retrieve emails direct from the PDA
d) other than a glorified PIM. i also use it to track my daily expenses, write documents and spreadsheets, send/receive/archive my SMS messages from the phone, and more.
all these, plus more, on a device that fits comfortably on the palm of my (small) hand
PS. i used to have this "educational" guide on my PDA - palmasutra. hehehe. im thru with it na kaya i uninstalled it already. |
