not in Canada where it is 650 CAD which is about 500 USD, thats like dirt cheap. Not sure why they got such a huge price discrepancy here. Problem is it is locked to one carrier.

now 2 carriers will carry the Z5.
Sasketel will carry the Black model.

Still unlocking should be cheap and fast!

Sasktel doesn't have a price, and they are limited to Saskatchewan doesn't mean a whole lot to rest of Canada.

At Stratford Westfield in London, there is a Sony kiosk. You can buy a Z5 or Compact from one of the many shops then you take your receipt to the kiosk and they'll give you a free item worth around £100. They offer you a set of headphones or a bluetooth speaker if anyone is interested.

^ I have no idea..Personally I prefer single SIM.Hope they list it soon..I guess i will contact them some time later and find out. Has anyone bought a Z5 here? What color? User experience? Are there any complaints with a particular color like the white Z5c or any problems in general?

Sony seems to be pushing dual sims version in all of South East Asia, only difference for dual sims is LTE CAT4 instead of CAT6 and dual sims support more Band unlike the single sims, prices are the same. Dual sims used to have slower software update but not anymore since Sony are merging the update for dual and single sims models for Z5. Unless you really want LTE CAT6 there shouldn't be any disadvantage for dual sims model.

I have. I decided on the teal green version. Was going to go for the gold one, but I think the green looks very classy. I have only had the phone since Sunday, but no problems thus far. Very happy with phone. My previous phone was the htc one m7, and this is a worthy upgrade in my opinion.

A colleague has a black Z5. It's fluent. Solid build. And looks beautiful.
He came from Z1 (or 2) and is very happy with it.

There are 29 states in India and the moment we step out of our Home state/Home network, we get charged ridiculously for Roaming. Considering most of the students and young workers study/work outside their state, they tend to have a secondary sim to be used when they are back home. Also, a good number of Indians work abroad who regularly fly to and fro from India..so again they always retain their Indian SIM's.

and yea, network is shit..one carrier has reception here and one doesn't have reception there. So people tend to carry a secondary one all the time
