I found Arc S and Ray to have the best call clarity. The Arc S was especially good.
Phone?? What phone?? |

Reviews say that Xperia T is just not ahead of the competition but not behind either.
I takes time to be in front, but still looks like T is good.
I don't see a problem here.

A phone that is equal to the other flagships is a great first step imo. 2013 will be interesting. My main problem is how it looks though, TX is soooo much better looking |

Xperia T is a great start for Sony.
Now if they can bring a Xperia flagship with 13MP Camera, S4 Pro CPU, 16/32GB built-in mem with MicroSD expansion, 2GB RAM, and a 4.6inch display with a similar design to the Xperia T at MWC2013 then i will come back to Sony.
Bonuses would be if:
-It has a Xenon flash
-Is IP67 Certified like the Xperia V and Acro S
Both those would be MAJOR trump cards against competition in the high end.
I'm hoping Sony make a major push in marketing next year, their phones, especially Xperia T, V and Acro S are just not getting the exposure they deserve. I'm also dissapointed at how Sony under utilises their PS integration in their phones, they really need to wake-up ,they have an enormous amount of potential here.

Let's compile the selective review of the Samsung and Apple lovers!!!
Also this is just an envy against Sony as always.
"The Sony Xperia T doesnt offer groundbreaking features compared to the other flagships out there, but it is a pretty compelling package nonetheless. The sturdy arched design will appeal to many, and the 13MP camera will let you capture those impromptu moments on the fly because of the dedicated shutter key. There are no major gripes with the handset either it is zippy, with expandable storage and easy to access card slots. The only minor issues are with the screen - its coating reflects too much light outside, which tampers with the view under direct sunlight, and the viewing angles are weak. Our biggest expectations were towards the 13MP sensor, but it doesnt offer much better capture than its predecessor, and the pictures and video quality is about what we find in the other high-end phones of today."
So does the SGS3/HTC One X or LG 4X HD doesn't offer groundbreaking features, but all those phone get no 100% critical review by many reviewers.
"Those flagships in about the same price range are the Xperia Ts main competition, too the Samsung Galaxy S III sports a larger 4.8 HD Super AMOLED display, which is superior to what we find on the Xperia T, and is also thinner and lighter. The HTC One X has a larger screen too, but its unibody design omits a microSD slot. The LG Optimus 4X HD has a brilliant screen, too, and is as compact as the T, but the camera fares worse. Sonys phone, however, wont have much to show against the upcoming Optimus G, which is more powerful, built with premium materials, and also has a 13MP camera like the T."
Really, the screen from the Xperia T will beat the crap out of the crappy and over hyped AMOLED screen from Samsung. And who look at the side of the screen, tell me what people look the most at the side of the screen instead of the front of the screen? What a stupid argument.
"If you are not a fan of large screens, you can also check out the upcoming iPhone 5 as an alternative, especially if you are somewhat invested in the iTunes ecosystem. Other upcoming threats to the Xperia T are the Windows Phone 8 flagships from Nokia and HTC, which have the same processor, but the Lumia 920 sports a camera with optical stabilization, and the HTC 8X has a dedicated audio amplifier, but its screen is smaller than the one on Sonys finest"
This is what i expect from the most reviewers the hype of the SGS3 and now the Iphone 5 and the Xperia T get the most 100% critical reviews when the Iphone 5 wil just 50% critical just what happens with SGS3 biased with little criticism because of the hype.
Whet it comes to Sony than they are then they suddenly 100% critical.
Cons
Bad screen reflectance and viewing angles They are very Samsung fanboys when it comes to screens
Call quality should be better This is personal opinion.
Volume rocker is placed uncomfortably Also a personal opinion.
LED notification light is too small I like a small notification, this my opinion.
Really stupid when comes to the screen and also the camera.
The Battery is not fully tested by those selective reviewers.

Well let's just wait for a real review from GSMArena. They make the best reviews out there. And the review should be available in a couple of days. They will also test the battery thoroughly. |

Yeah. Many review sites are biased and it's probably part of this damn business.
Anyway I think Sony makes a great effort, just remember how much time it took Samsung to be
where they are now.
One could always expect more, but in the end I hope they play it safe.
And will never repeat X2 fiasco. This phone destroyed opinion in many places.
I am not sure I need Xperia T now as S is still one of the top devices.
And I have it only from April...
Still, a great phone fighting with quadcores.

Another review
That 4.6-inch screen sports an impressive 1,280 x 720 resolution, so we were looking forward to seeing how the Xperia T's 1,850mAh battery handled the workload. In summary, it delivered a middle-of-the-road showing. We got just under six hours of constant video playback, WiFi and 3G enabled regularly polling Twitter and our email. Sure, that's incrementally higher than the Xperia S, but given its non-removable nature, we were never quite confident that the Xperia T would go the distance. With medium to heavy use, we managed about a full work day, but we'd advise carrying either an external battery or a USB cable if you're going to work overtime.

Sony's stacked Exmor RS phone camera sensors detuned over quality worries
Sony would still like you to get excited about its upcoming Exmor RS stacked CMOS image sensors -- just not too excited. Both the 8-megapixel IMX134 and 13-megapixel IMX135 are scaling back from their original RGBW (red, green, blue, white) coding to an ordinary RGB over concerns that they aren't meeting Sony's "image quality standards" as originally designed. Consequently, either sensor will be less sensitive to light and diminish some of that high dynamic range magic. The company also doesn't want to get our hopes up for a quick arrival on shelves and clarifies that there's a phased launch starting in January. |

Me either.
But the question:
So Xperia T has a 4,55 inch screen but than the lowest part is ALWAYS ocuppied by those stupid buttons?
That means the phone has effectively SMALLER screen than Xperia S.
