Just using What's App on my Xperia whilst I wait. Didn't like it first time but it's cool app. Chatting for free. Anyway yes I know it will be hard for people to grasp but I am gonna stick with this. I am gonna be wanting to use it to see what it's like more. They said I can only return if un used so I am gonna open it Plus it starts a contract too. Also I feel I have NEVER really found anything worth keeping for a long contract and I feel this is. I was deliberately moaning before just winding you all up not saying I was getting one. There are not many phones worth keeping for 2 years

I have a question for those lucky enough to own the SGSIII.
How good is the SNS integration in contacts? I realise (and have read in reviews) that it may not be as good as HTC implements it with HTC Sense but I am curious. Can someone post screenshots? The reviews I have read do not go into a lot of detail on this aspect.

I would love to see Samsung or google buy out whatsapp and integrate in Android. Add the ability to put up a profile picture and a couple other things.
Bono, looking forward to that opinion of yours later today.

My concern with someone like Google buying it is that it may then become Android only and lose its cross-platform capabilities. I like that its even on Nokia feature phones!
The latest version of whatsapp (for Android) allows you to upload a profile picture.

Well I didn't like how HTC integrated Face Book I found it messy and laggy. Same with Sony Face Book Inside Xperia App was slow and laggy. I normally hate Face Book apps on Android I just use the browser. Never used Samsung's Social Hub yet. I guess it should run smooth on a quad core The best FB integration is Windows phone.

I have to agree with you on that one - Facebook integration is the one thing (only thing? ) that Windows Phone does well. I wonder why Google cannot devote some resources to coming up with that polished level of usefulness and finish.
Out of curiosity, which HTC Sense version did you find messy and laggy? I have found the level of integration and usefulness was different on the different versions from 2.1 to 3.x. Still curious though to see how Samsung have done it.

@Geezay - I didn't know whatsapp had picture profile. Will go look for it now. As for Google buying it I to would want it to maintain cross platform capabilities

I was jaw dropped watching the embedded video whilst having late lunch!! Cannot put it down this thing so much to do on it & it's fun & a pleasure to use. So fast & amazing. Just one bug I think there is. Not getting rid of it cos of this. I formatted my 32 gig high speed card. Anyway I did a full HD video on the busy street with traffic noise & the audio when played back on pc had a funny electronic buzzing noise on & off. Gonna try again later but I did notice this on a You Tube video the other day filmed with the GS3!! But I won't use videos as much as photos anyway. EDIT: Seems ok now I think it distorts audio just in loud places
