Pleased with the o2 tariff. £40 cheaper than orange for the same thing for me.
Updated the national rail app now. Can't tell any differences yet.

if you're using the "Apple Software Update" then trying going to the indivdual download page for each product and downloading from there as I have seen this can fix your issue

Is everyone certain that on launch day the iPhone's from the Apple shop will be unlocked and you can simply go and buy one and put your sim card in it?

I've heard it on several news sources, and certainly when I perordered mine for delivery there was no mention or choice of phone company.
don't forget though that it takes a micro sim only so you can't just put your existing sim in unless you cut it down to size

Im not so worried about the micro-sim, as I have purchased a micro-sim card cutting tool I have purchased off eBay. I just dont want to be stung with high data charges on roaming. So this way I can swap sims in an unlocked handset

i have looked on both the vodafone and O2 forums and their mods are saying that if u buy the phone from an Apple store Sim Free its unlocked. But if u get one on PAYG or Contract then when u activate it the server locks the phone for use only on the network of choice.
Sounds legit as u have to use itunes to unlock the iphones prev on O2. Seeing as all phones must be activated via iTunes it seems very likely that this is correct.
Happy i got a sim free one purchased now lol. |

I went to pick up a micro sim from Vodafone and asked regarding the locked iPhone 4... They said if you by direct from Apple it is SIMFREE, however if you go to the Network... It is locked down...
