Change-log:
* Added support for WVGA video recording in 400 x 280 resolution at 26 to 30 fps.
To access WVGA recording, turn on Night Mode in Video mode.
This is the highest resolution that works properly.
* Improved auto-mode
* Improved Slow Shutter scenes
* Fixed all bugs (Face detection error, Dark auto mode after scene change etc)

Nope, it's not a joke
Spent a day looking for the register value that would cause this resolution, and finally found it and implemented it

i notice some strange flickering when going through the camera menus now.. it doesn't seem to be impacting anything though.
and the wvga 400x240 doesn't play back at full screen on the phone .. it's not a big deal really, but the screen is already so small i wish it would fill the entire screen up.

if it filled the whole screen then it wouldn't be 400 x 240. In landscape It fits the 400 to the length of the screen so the 240 makes it letterbox. It can't do anything else but this at 400 x 240. |

Oh yes, it's 400 x 240. I mixed it up with 280.
Anyway, this resolution is WVGA which refers to Wide VGA.
It's adapted for Widescreen display whereas C905 has letterbox. So obviously it doesn't fill the whole screen. But it plays better on PC screen
The flickering is normal and does not cause any issue. It happens after WVGA recording.

great job, but you must know this is WQVGA . WVGA is 800x480, WQVGA is 400x240.
I`ll compare the bitrates using original se driver and yours, it looks like in your driver is lower ?
Edit, is same, great job.

took this shot indoor low light.. still some noise, but the slower shutter speed definitely helps out when using auto settings
the resulting picture is a very good representation of what the actual scene looked like as far as brightness and color accuracy
ALL AUTO
1/10 sec shutter
ISO 400
