Yeah and it defaults to the view you had last when you open an unread text from the shortcut/pop-up. I actually quite like the SMS conversation view feature now I've got used to the text size it's set at.

Hi,
I'm trying to update my phone to R1DA032 firmware through Da Vinci website, but as the process goes through it stops with an error saying:
Identification Time - 00:00:22

This happens with whichever of the 4 choices of this firmware.
Has anyone else had this problem. It happens on both my vista and xp PC's. Never had a problem updating my c905 before, usually it's plain sailing.
Any advance would be kindly appreciated.

You can get a later version aw looking through the forums for free, i have created a tut with all the files and programs required.

Got a response from Da vinci. looks like its a problem with the file on there end they will let me know when it is good to download.

its out through davinci... that means that it should be out in western europe. anyone tried it recently? I cant see sony ericsson creating a new firmware at the moment...
im on the chinese version and im tempted to get this one for the sake of it to see if it has the conversations. anyone tried it? if not i will test it for you, credit crunch and everything!
EDIT: bought the credits and now going to install the new firmware... i'll let you know how it goes. did the same thing, support said they'd pass it on to their head tech and get it fixed right away dunno if i believe him though

It sucks that we have to pay to use davinci. I'll just wait patiently or update with the method posted earlier. I can't get my c905i to update either. |

I'm extremely disappointed with the rollout of this update. Do I smell a return to the ghastly debacle of the k850i? I certainly hope not, just as my respect for SE recovered...
