So, Pedrops. Having received all this feedback, what's the future of Peter's acoustic (what can one expect), or do the future versions (if any) depend mainly on the feedback you get from us?
Actually its pretty limited my options... the real change might be in MAIN part...
What I'm doing a great research is about acoustics compensations strings... there might be the secrect to get a perfect sound... but only SE knows how that string works!

@Perdrops: i wanna give the biggest respect, for your invested time and work.
Your drivers are all great.
It is a good idea to give us 3 drivers to choose.
So everybody of us can choose the best for him.
Ererybody has an other hear and listen another music.
And so you give everybody a chance to get the best.
Keep On.
I use a sony InEar and i prefer your U-Bass Beta. The Bass is clear and the rest of the sound is clear too in the same time.
Now i can let my ipod at home. Thank you.
The HIFI driver is good for big HIFI headers or CAR HIFI

Thanks a lot man!

I've tried many acoustic driver before, and found your V2 acoustic is undreamed-of-acoustic driver for my K800.
Now when listen to any song, i can feel my earphone (i'm using Victor ear clip phone which has much bass) is full with instruments and i can distinguish each kind of instrument due to V2's excellent clearness.
The treble in V2 is at very high frequency (called super treble), so it won't make my ear annoyed even when i raise the 5th column of equalizer to max. V2's treble is very nice to me.
But i prefer your Ultrabass beta, hope that you can develop it to become final Ultrabass. Now using Ultrabass, i have to raise 3 bars for the mid column (3rd one) in equalizer to make the sound suit my taste.
Thanks very much for your great work.
Yep that was just a try!
Maybe I can do more with that.. but till now I'm stuck!
Cause now we have R8 firmware, wich produce a diff sound with my acoustics!
which FW are you using?

I do see the HPM70 is better than the high5 one, i test on my surround speaker....
THe ultrabass, in my opinion, got bass but the sound not so good like in HPM70.
Yep thats just a beta
HPM70 and HiFi are the final ones
I'm waiting to fully flash my K800 to R8.. cause I think everybody will use R8.. so I'll have to start from scratch my acoustics....

I can say I like this one. I've tried the HPM70 version and it's so clear and detailed. Only problem is that it kinda distort when blasted at full volume. It isn't as neutral as v1.1 (I liked that), but this version suits little HMP-70 very well. Thank you for your great effort! and... keep it up!
HPM70 can't handle the output power of the max volume =]
but its just lower 2 notches and it will be fine
V1.1 is a little bit more balanced, like HiFi version
Thanks man!

hi there pedrops!
ive been away for too long and its nice to see you finalized the V2.
i congratulate you for these.... anyway, can BT acoustics also be altered.. i mean does it have a very dramatic change if you do that?! or these all depends on the BT gadget?!
I have modded BT acoustics! Isn't it noticeable?
Yep it surely deppends on BT gadget you're using... as PHF's sound deppends on the quality of the headphones...
What kind of BT gadget you use? Earphones? Headphones? Handsfree?

@all
can anyone explain me the .zapf files included in the acoustic
cause i wanna replace some .zapf file there
but i have no idea which .zapf file ist for back speaker or for radio or for back speaker when speaking with some one ... and etc ....
For talking to someone on backspeaker its the farfield_call, for radio and music its the farfield_play.
What kind of changes are you looking for?

@ PedroPs
Would be nice if you could put in some hard yards where the back speaker is concerned. I've mixed some files into ur v2 @ the backspeaker now kicks more ass.
Can you tell me wich files you have selected?

Zirkie101, a little more kick into v2? That is great. Backspeaker is lacking in out right volume compared to v1.1. Acoustics is crisp and treble is perfect. Using the music player to play songs on the backspeaker yielded greater volume with excellent acoustics compared to V1.1. Only if V.1.1 volume was integrated with V.2 clear distortion free acoustics for backspeaker then it would be great. Pedrops have you analyzed aforementioned before? Pedrops, the call volume for earpiece on phone is lower then your previous "Loud" version. I'm use to the Loud version.
Thanks in advance.
I can raise the volume.. but it will distort with some songs.. we have reached the highest volume possible without craking!
Yes I have lowered a bit the call volume! but just a bit!
you can always use Loud and Extreme Loud if they fit you necessities better =]

After i try for a much long period, in my opinion, i choose the Hifi acoustic pack, i think it is much better and soft bass as compare to HPM70 as using the flat equilizer ( normal )
HPM70 is less bass and the sound quite noisy. Where the Hifi not as "clean" as the HPM70 ( maybe due to speaker or little broken background sound that hard to detect ), but overall it give like high5 sound when i test using this:
Wich headphones you used to compared them?
HPM70 is especific for HPM70 earbuds
hmmm, so when you plug to your home system sound the HiFi version has more bass than HPM70?
It should be otherwise... strange!
HiFi is softer and better equalized for high definitions systems.. while HPM70 can produce more bass and treble to fit HPM70 characteristics

@ Burner8
I'm yet to go through the troubles of getting online storage, so I'll tell you what & where. Where: Look through threads in "Customising" @ Sense - MasterJP started a thread there in which he posted an acoustic mix. What: I've used 2 of Ego's farfield files in Peter's v2 (HPM70) mod and the backspeaker is now literally screaming! Go ahead and see what you think. I hope PedroPS will give this issue some attention in future versions (hopefully) to come. If you can't find the acoustics, Burner 8, then I shall gladly go through the troubles of uploading it. Now I've gotta go work. Doh!!!
What exactly files you have used? |
